After booking through booking.com i got a call from the hotel that said all rooms were sold out. The money was supposed to be refunded and never was!

Location
The check in. Reservation had been made on Booking.com. Upon check-in I was informed my reservation had been canceled. I inquired why and was informed the credit card for reservation was invalid. I informed the manager that if there was a problem they should have called me. Apparently an email was sent while I was traveling to the hotel. Bottom line is I ended up making a new reservation which resulted in a rate $40.00 higher than the original reservation.

Breakfast was amazing!! Loooved every bit of it! My favorite was the seasoned potatoes and sausages. Yummy!! Bed was so comfortable, room was clean and cozy! I love the side door, it was so easy to get to my car and back inside without having to go around the front.
The noise. People beside us were up and going at midnight while we were trying to sleep with my 10month old. Slamming the microwave- talking so loud it felt like they were in our room. I don’t think they knew how loud they were, My husband and I almost got up to ask them to lower their volume. (Not sure how that would of gone) But We heard their entire conversations. Made it hard to sleep in my cozy, comfy bed. But we managed.

Not much to like. I paid a premium for a nites stay but did not get a premium stay. Does not compare with other hotels in area.
didn't like anything. Lady at desk was alone and overwhelmed. Trying to deal with irate customers.

It “looked” nice. But that was a facade.
As we prepare to checkout of the Hampton Inn & Suites in Nocogdoches, I looked back on our stay, as I like to review good hotels for other travelers. This is NOT one of those times. This was, without a doubt, THE worst Hampton Inn & Suites we’ve ever stayed in. We were in Nacogdoches for a softball tournament and chose this hotel. Big mistake. Comfort Suites is next door, Best Western is across the street, Holiday Inn Express is also next door, and Super 8 is about a block down the street. I wish we’d have stayed at any other hotel instead of this Hampton Inn. And it was the most expensive of all of them. We were in room 332. Every time we left the room and returned, our “older technology” room key cards would not work. So we’d have to go downstairs & get new keys. This happened 6 times. The Hampton “digital key” on my iPhone never worked and would return an error each time I tried to use it, which was every time the key card wouldn’t work. Management could not fix the error and seemed totally unconcerned. And when we did get new key cards that worked, the door stuck so badly my wife could not push hard enough to open the door. The AC was out in the hallway of the entire 3rd floor. So, as you stepped out of your room your glasses would fog over. This was also during the hottest weekend of the year, so far. The heat index was 123* at 2:30pm yesterday, and I bet the 3rd floor hallway was 140*. Management said they knew about it, but had no ETA of when it would be fixed. The shower has 3 containers connected to the wall…shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Our shampoo bottle was bone dry, so we had to use shower gel for shampoo. The water pressure in the shower was non-existent. The mattress on one of our beds (we had two queens) was super hard and lumpy…the other was OK. Other than all the issues, the room was adequate. The free breakfast was nothing to write home about, just OK.

The room was nice
The breakfast was horrible. Potatoes were under cooked. Meat and eggs very bland. Poor selection in general.

We arrived at night and it didn’t seem well lit in the parking lot.

They canceled our reservation just as we were arriving at about 7:30 P.M. Reason given was that they had “over-booked”. They spokesperson was polite as was another person to whom I spoke the next day. I was given assurances that there would be no charge from them or Booking.Com. However, I had a fraud alert call from my credit card the next day. I will check to be sure all charges have been removed and will take action if that is not the case. Am upset over this and want to know whether the fault was Hamptom’s or the booking company.

Good breakfast options. Location was at the rear of the lobby.
Not the Inn's fault, but whoever stayed in the room over us on the second floor had heavy feet and were up most of the night.

I could not believe how huge our room was- a nice desk, sitting area - several mirrors other than bathroom to do hair in etc, and it was absolutely immaculate- the shower and all of it looked brand new. Was not expecting that at all and super pleased!!! Liked that the extras- the soaps and shampoos were all large in size and not tiny bottles or difficult to tear packets.
Maybe some fresh fruit and non dairy milk options like soy, oat or almond milk for coffee:) It was a little expensive due to it being parents weekend - in my opinion - but I understand wanting to capitalize on that.

Bed was so comfortable. Pillows were great. Plenty hot water and the whirlpool was nice. Round the clock coffee in the lobby was wonderful and the breakfast was good. Preferred a tub with shower, but the shower was spacious.
The towels and washrags were very stiff and scratchy to the skin. The pool was dirty and small.
