Does not instill confidence in Rodeway Inn as a chain.

The staff were cordial and check in/out was easy. Room pretty big.

Non-smoking room stank strongly of smoke, Saggy mattress, tired bath linens and torn upholstery. Worn/dirty carpets throughout. No breakfast that was indicated to be included. Pool closed indefinitely.

It was just a place to lay our heads & served that purpose.

Convenient location to restaurants, etc.

It wasn't the worst hotel we've stayed in. Not super clean, ATM didn't work to get cash out for deposit, no usb plug-ins to charge phones, holes in sheets & pillow cases, beds were hard, & hallway smelled heavily of smoke.

I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The staff was nice though.

It was a decent price.

There was no breakfast, the nightstand and dresser were sticky, when we walked in the place there was a smell of marijuana very strong.

On my next trip to Cedar Rapids, i would be pleased to stay at the Rodeway again.

Helpful, pleasant staffers. Clean room. Very good hot water. Ample parking. The tv was having a problem, but I was quickly offered another room with a working tv. It was peaceful. Very nice.

There was no breakfast onsite, but there was coffee. it may be that getting a staffer for the breakfast could not be done; but the absence of a breakfast bar was reflected in a lower room rate. There was a framed, botanical print over each of the two queen beds - but it was the same image. Why? The pillows were short but stout.

Beware of ants in the beds!

I woke with bites on my leg, and when I moved the pillows, hundreds of ants came out. The management did not want to make any adjustment to my bill, and won't even talk to me.

DON’T STAY HERE EVER. SCARY AT NIGHT. SCARY NIGHT CLERK WANTS CASH.

Not much at all. Horrible front desk person at night at check in. Charged almost $4 to use a credit card. Offered to pay by check would not take check. Think he wanted cash. Dirty place. Many “cash only” types without credit cards all around smoking, watching TV in what appeared to be common room but roped off to us. DAY TIME FRONT DESK LADY WAS VERY WONDERFUL. It is known about night clerk probably due to unsavory characters hanging around at night. SCARY place at night & huge night clerk unruly & rude.

All didn’t like as above. Lady day clerk was nice. Promised breakfast NOTHING at all not even tea or coffee. Nothing available st all. You need to give us a refund. It was that bad. It was worse than bad it was SCARY at night and nothing at all for breakfast.

Worst hotel stay ever and the price wasn’t even that cheap!

Did not like anything about this place!

The room was disgusting, there was still urine in toilet with lid closed which was dirty. Sink has grime all over it like it hadn’t been cleaned. Pulled back comforter and there was popcorn in the bed! Front desk said they would not give me my money back and charged me $50 cleaning deposit so I cleaned the room so I would not get charged. Absolutely no breakfast! There was a huge blood stain in between beds too!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This property was not clean, the entire building, even the “non-smoking areas” smell like a chain smoker has stayed there. After checking in and looking at 2 separate rooms we didn’t stay at this hotel as we smelt like smoke for a solid 30minutes afterwards. The manager keeps dodging my phone calls and will not acknowledge the dirtyness of the hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

It was a bed too sleep on for the night.

The gal at the front desk had very good customer service skills

When you walk into the hotel, all you can smell is smoke. That’s throughout the whole hotel until you get to your room. We also hard burn holes in our comforter from cigarettes. The smell made me sick to my stomach but the price was cheap. Would probably pay the $10 more to stay somewhere else next time purely because of that.

Bare minimum stay.

No breakfast as advertised. The walls are way too thin. I felt like I was getting bitten while laying in bed. I had a couple bites/bumps on my back. And lastly, the non-smoking rooms reeked of cigarette smoke.

Friendly staff, clean room and lobby, great price and location, and peacefully quiet.

Breakfast was not served because of covid but we were able to get what we wanted very easily because of location and delivery.

We really had no complaints.
