Great location.
The room was very cramped, 3rd floor with no elevator. No ac. No airflow as View was the side wall of the bar next door.

The cost of the room was outrageous for what you get.

Great location
The bed was the absolute worst I’ve ever slept in. My wife had to wedge herself up with a pillow to keep from falling off.

From check in to check out the whole experience staying at this historical hotel was absolutely amazing! We flew in from Texas and will 100% be returning!

Fantastic location, comfortable beds, adjoining restaurant/bar.
No in-room coffee, had to go down to foyer for coffee/water. Our deadbolt didn't work on the door, reported to front desk but it did not get fixed during our 2 day stay. Tiny bathroom for 2 people.

I really liked this hotel. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed, and this continued to be the case for my two night stay. The hotel was as close to an original in Ketchikan that you can get. The room and common spaces were exquisitely clean, quite a challenge in a building as old as this. It is located in the center of the action across the street from the waterfront, with easy access to eateries, shops, and with a bus stop right out front. Evenings are quiet, as cruise ships leave by six, streets are rolled up, and sleep is easy.
The hotel didn’t have an elevator, although not unusual in older properties in Alaska, and no first floor rooms. However, it was good to get needed exercise with all the delicious eating options in close proximity.

They were extremely helpful and kind with my trip to the ferry for airport connections. They went out of their way to help me and I really appreciated it.
Great location with great restaurant next door and the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure I got to my flight in time. The location is within walking distance to Creek Street and downtown.

Clean rooms, comfy beds, helpful staff
No business center. A bar two doors down that was loud and raucous into the early morning hours. No elevator. 24/7 coffee and tea not always stocked.

The location of the hotel is great; in downtown within easy walking distance of many of the attractions. The rooms are small and clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful.
The hotel doesn’t have an elevator; it isn’t the end of the world since there are only rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, but it is challenging if you have any difficulty walking. The rooms don’t have any ventilation, so when you shower, the bathroom and bedroom become very steamy. Opening the window didn’t help much; the humidity outside just kind of equalized with the humidity inside. The windows DO NOT have any screens. We had the windows open but didn’t get any bugs in the room. If I were traveling with smaller children I would not open the windows because they are at about the right height for a little one to lean out and fall out of the window.

Well maintained and run historic hotel. Right in the downtown. Cab Transportation to/from airport was included included, which is kind of a big deal because the airport isn't walkable to downtown and the fluctuations caused by big cruise ships make airport transportation sporadic.

The location was super. We could walk everywhere. The staff was friendly. We liked the coffee, water and hot chocolate station. The room was clean, and the bed comfortable.
We really would have appreciated some place to unload our suitcases and hang things up. There weren't any comfortable chairs or a table to sit at, in order to eat or play games. There was no microwave or refrigerator. Perhaps our room should have been just one double bed (it was a king), which would allow room for some of these things.

Old building, but very well renovated. Kept the charm of a historic building and was very comfortable. The rooms and hallways were very clean. I would have stayed longer had work allowed for the extra nights.
Not much could be said about what I didn't like. The hallways felt a bit crowded as was the case for many historic buildings. Some crowding around the front desk with people checking in and checking out.
