Very much like the cabin my family had in Ontario. A little rustic, a little worn but very clean and well supplied. A great place to stay on a beautiful lake. Small sandy beach, dock and swimming platform and all the water toys. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin is perfect for a family with children and pets, or for a couple wanting to get away to a secluded lakeside spot. The unpaved road behind the house has almost no traffiic Great for biking, running and walking the dogs.
The cabin is older and rustic, but comfortably furnished and well-appointed. All three bedrooms have night table lights, chests of drawers and places to hang things. The mattresses are good ones.
The kitchen is well-appointed, there are two dens with comfy armchairs and couches.
There is all the outdoor furniture you’d want, and then some. The deck is a lovely place
To hang out in rain or shine. There’s also a charcoal grill and fire pit.
The lawn is very spacious, there are kayaks, a canoe and a paddle boat. Swimming in the lake is a dream. The water is clear, algae free. There are water lilies, geese and loons.
Tom is the host with the most and his caretaker is terrific. I had a couple of questions and they were both completely available.
Looking forward to next summer!

This was our first visit to Mt Holly. We had a wonderful time. When arriving we were greeted by the loons just having a leisurely afternoon conversation. That was quite an experience we will never forget.
A quiet family home awaited our kids and dogs. Nice stroll right out the back deck to the lake. The home is a great family home where you get a great sense of how much this place is appreciated by its family.
The host was accommodating and responded to any questions we had. The weather was cool during our stay. We had a fire in th firepit one day and a fire in the indoor fireplace another night. The house was big enough to spread out in various rooms for the family. Nice chair by the fireplace to just relax and read if you like. Close to Okemo and stores in that area. A few nice hikes both easy and moderate trails close by.
Nice little country store called Pierce's was a nice treat. We ended up going there twice! Locally made treats brought in daily are hard to pass up.
Overall a great place for a family getaway and would certainly go back again.

The weather was far from ideal for a summer get away but the place had plenty of room to play games (board & video) and comfortable furniture for lounging and reading! The cabin next door is very close but the occupants were nice.

I specifically booked this place because they advertised it as SECLUDED in the title. The area is relatively secluded (down a dirt road with plenty of houses along the way) but there is another house on the same property, a half stones throw away. The photos and listing are very misleading and I was incredibly disheartened when I arrived at the same time as the group in the other house was arriving. You can see directly into their windows and see the other people using the deck when you are outside and I was not on vacation to make small talk with my neighbors. The inside is laid out very strangely and is not cozy. The only couch is right next to the dining room table, out of view of the tv and to watch the very low budget tv, your choices are sitting directly in front of the tv on a recliner chair, or sitting just behind the recliner on a cheap, stiff, dorm room “couch”. The other tv in the bedroom is tiny, dark, and again, very low budget. I just think for the price, they should have a comfy place to be able to watch a decent tv at night. All it would take is a few hundred dollars and some thoughtful rearranging. There was another issue, specific to me, that forced me to only be able to stay one night out of the four I booked. The view of the lake is gorgeous and if you’re looking for something very rustic, the place is fine and it was definitely clean. Also be aware that you have to bring your own linens, host only let me know after I left and I had to stop at Walmart

Comfortable for 6 adults. Fireplace with wood supplied is a nice bonus. great view of the lake. Short drive to Okemo for ski/snowboarding wasn't bad at all. I would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our long weekend at Sunny Days! This spot had everything we needed. We spent so much of our time relaxing on the deck looking out at the lake, kayaking, fishing and swimming. We met family of the owners who were staying nearby and they were wonderful neighbors. Sunny Days is very well loved and it shows! This is our second year visiting Mount Holly and we’re happy to now have our own memories. We can’t wait to come back. Peaceful is an understatement. Host and property manager were helpful, friendly and responsive.

Fabulous setting, great lake access with boats. Cozy home with great light and deck overlooking lake. Beautiful sunrises and loons calling throughout the day. Fireplace and grill and fire pit made for great grilling and s’mores. Plenty of room for the six of us. Host is responsive

Perfect home for a ski trip to Killinton and Okemo. Wonderful property on a big lake.

This property is in a wonderful area and completely peaceful. It was just what we needed. My only complaint is the heat is a bit wonky… bedrooms get very hot and need to have doors open yet tv room is cold… bring extra blankets for cuddling up there.
The supplies in the house, the cleanliness and the communication with the owner/ property manager was easy and wonderful.
Definitely would consider renting again!

The location was very quiet and quaint. Plenty of room for all! We found a lot of cobwebs and dust. All kitchen appliances (toaster, microwave, and fronts of cabinets) were splattered with old food. The fridge wasn't totally cleaned and we needed to wipe it down before placing items in it. We wiped down as much as we could, but there needs to be a deep clean of the house. We found plenty of water bottles under beds and behind dressers and on window sills behind curtains. (we brought dogs with us and lost dog toys and that is the reason we found most of these items). The ceiling fans had tons of dust as well as some of the wall hangings and can lights. It was a bit disappointing because it seems like it wasn't cleaned in detail.

Tom was great to work with, was very accommodating with logistics. The cabin itself is someone’s loved family summer cottage, I wouldn’t really call it a rental for the price we paid. It’s definitely lived in. Beautiful lake view. Lots of beds. Be aware of the 1 mile deep mud road to get to the cabin, you definitely need 4 wheel drive. I wish we had known that.

This dirt road funky rustic cabin on a gorgeous lake out in the woods complete with crooked floors was a perfect fit for us. We could get to the base lodge at Okemo in 15 minutes. We cooked every meal here and found the kitchen well equipped. The house heated up quickly, and the fireplace was amazing. There was plenty of firewood. Oh and if you like super cushy memory foam mattresses, you will love these beds :-) Overall it was a great four night stay in a beautiful remote setting.

We had a memorable Christmas ski vacation despite the challenges from the snowstorm. Owner Tom is a top-notch host who communicated constantly during the power outage. We were well cared for.
The rustic place is perfect for our family of six (it could easily fit a couple extra people), conveniently located about 10-minute drive Okemo, yet it is a world away from hustle and bustle of the busy slopes. I especially loved the expansive views of the lake.

We had a nice weekend. The place is older and needs some work but overall great stay. They did get a lot of rain before we arrived so the water line took out most of the beach area and the paddle boats had a lot of water in them. Host is very responsive and on top of things.

This was the perfect family getaway for our family with 2 older boys. Lovely, rustic family cottage! We enjoyed going out on beautiful Lake Nineveh with the paddle boat and kayaks provided with the cottage. The lake is clean with a Sandy bottom. The charcoal grill was perfect for meals. The kitchen is well stocked. We also enjoyed sitting by the campfire and looking at the stars. We only ate out once but we highly recommend The Rustic Rooster not far from the cottage, yum! Every morning I got up early to watch the sunrise across the lake, listen to the birds and the loons echoing across the lake. Watching the butterflies and hummingbirds in the yard was another favorite for me. My husband preferred relaxing in the den in the comfy recliner overlooking the lake, he could watch tv AND look at the lake! There is another cottage right next door but no one was there while we were there so it was extra private and quiet! We hope to return next year!

Quick Christmas Stay
We weren’t at the cottage much - really just at night and in the morning. Had all the basics that you need for a stay. Nice spot for dog walks.

Lake house Ski weekend!!
We went for a ski weekend in December and had a great stay. It was 45 degrees and sunny on Friday and then turned cold and had 8 inches of snow all day Saturday and into Sunday morning. The place was plowed and roads cleared by 7 am to get to the slopes Sunday morning by 8 am. The house was cozy with the fireplace and heater going. The view of the lake was great. We saw a few people ice fishing Sunday morning at 7 am .
Tom was great with communicating any concerns which we did not have any throughout the weekend. The place was only 10 minute ride to Jackson Gore and Okemo ski resort.
We definitely would stay again.

A rustic get-away
Rustic. Fit our ends for what is was except window sills and all the interior accessories need a good cleaning. I had to sweep the deck and entry room upon arrival as there were lots of grass clippings and leaves and we didn’t want to track them into the house. Locks on some of the doors (bedroom with bunk beds and main entrance door to the house) should be addressed. No cell service was a nuisance. All this being said, we loved the lake view!

We felt right at home
This is a family cottage that clearly shows TLC over the years. There is such a sense of loving-care over the years. I felt like we had travelled back in time, and could enjoy the quiet, slow-moving life of our childhood. A delightful sense of authenticity!

Great location on a beautiful lake
In spite of some rain we enjoyed Sunny Days on lake Nineveh. Great porch and views, plenty of chairs and boats for us to choose from. Had a problem with the phone and WiFi first day but after contacting property manager they took care it right away. Thanks!

Great lakeside camp
We loved our time here. The house had plenty of space and was very comfortable, but the main attraction is it spot on an incredible lake. There are lots of windows and great places to sit outside. The lake access is great for kids and we enjoyed the floating dock. The boats were also great!
