It was close to the main travel route and the food places in Town. It was a better value than going further up the mountain pass

breakfast not included. Location good.
the coffee wasn’t very good. I think the hotel size Keurig machines would be a better choice.

Basically clean. Good value for a place to sleep. If you're not expecting anything other than a clean place to sleep, This works fine.
Very old motel. Exterior is showing it's age. The whole place could use a remodel.

Location. Been stopping here during my working years over 20 years.
No remote for the heater…hard to navigate and extremely noisy.

Easy access and low rates. Beds were comfortable. Accessible shower was easy to access.
Coffee table in accessible room shouldn't be placed in way of wheelchair getting to the bed and bathroom. Fridge not plugged in and would have taken a long time to get cold.

Desert Inn was perfectly adequate for staying a few nights while I was racing at Willow Springs. The drive from the track isn't bad, and compared to other hotels nearby, Desert Inn saved me a enough money on my weekend to fill up my truck with gas at 2022 prices. The room was plain but clean, the bathroom was actually very clean, and the fixtures were pretty new as well. I didn't notice any noise from the highway or other guests. I arrived later than planned, not until perhaps 9pm, but after ringing the night bell, the caretaker cheerfully took my payment and gave me instructions for me key and wifi password. I would definitely plan to stay here again.

Location was alright - rooms are kind of quiet
There was no breakfast even when we paid for it and they advertised it on their website! The room is very outdated and smells like chlorine

Friendly staff and VERY good air conditioning. Which was nice since it was in the high 90s for the majority of my stay.

AC works and performed in 106 degree Parking lot well litted. The married couple staff very helpful to assist husband with his walker to our room.
9.0
The owners and staff were very friendly. They helped us take our suitcases from the car to the room. When the ice machine wasn't giving ice. The owner went and provided us with ice. I felt that was extra special of them. I've never had this kind of service at a motel. The room was large and came with a microwave and small refrigerator.
I felt the mattress was too hard, but that is a personal preference.

I was just passing through and needed a room for the night. This was economical and conveniently located. The room was clean and had a small fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly.
I'm a light sleeper and the proximity to Route 58 business made it a bit noisy at night. The room and facilities are quite dated but honestly I did not expect anything fancy at this price point. Not much in the way of restaurants within walking distance.
6.0
Staff anticipated my arrival. Interesting bed spreads.
Having to plug in the refrigerator; motels that do this should raise prices by $5 and leave them plugged in. Unique scrounged furnishings provoke a mixed reaction... on the one hand, they're unique, but on the other hand, the aged patina is not appreciated.
