Staying there was more about settling rather than choice. There's considerable room for improvement.

Location was good.

At check-in, a customer, who preceded us, came in and openly complained to the front desk while we were checking-in. That was unsettling. He ask to speak to the manager. We were told we we're not eligible for a ground level room because we didn't ask for one. (We did not receive a choice notification). We're in our 70's. The room we were assigned, entry door, did not have a working lock from the inside. There was a 5" gap in the base of the entry door that exposed us to outside environment & comments, which were easily heard at 3:30 am. that work us up. We left before 6 am because we couldn't get back to sleep. That's enough. Not staying there again.

It was HORRIBLE!! Will never stay again or recommend this place!

Sad to say,nothing

The toilet, shower, tv did not work correctly. The gal in the office came to try and fix but was unsuccessful. Pillowcases looked dirty and had to ask for new ones and more towels as there was only 2 and no wash clothes. They only had cereal and waffles for breakfast. And the waffle mix would not come out of machine, so just cereal. The gal in the office had her kids there and of course she needed to tend to them. Very bad business. Was not even offered a discount or a different room for the inconvenience.

A family get together fell through and needed a place to stay on short notice. The staff was exceptionally nice!

the bed was wayyyyyyyyyy to high. needed to use the chair to get up in the bed. window curtains were dirty in spots. sink hand was very loose. otherwise the price was good for a room and bathroom

Started rough but the service associate went above and beyond to make it better. And it was one of her first days on the

The staff were great. She did her best to fix up a big problem with our room. The room we settled into was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Horrible water pressure in the shower. The room we were supposed to get was wide open when we arrived and the bed wasn’t even made up. The door to our room didn’t seal and the was about a 1” opening at the bottom and side.

Disappointing

Desk clerk was friendly.

Kept charging my card random fees. Charged me 40.00 intending to give me 23.00 credit for dirty bathroom?!?!?Incidentals charged prior to checkout and even though I paid with card!?!? and said it would credit back within 5 to 7 business days. Also toilet had feces stuck to wall. GROSS! No place to sit. Keep looking. SHADY

everything is great in Kansas, Topeka is the capital, such a trust worthy city

affordable and great new renovated rooms, walking distance to Cracker Barrel, topeka is right size city for good small town folk, I feel sorry for the zoo for when it gets cold, brown versus board of education everybody should know about that, that’s why we have racism

it was awful

I had a $50 deposit that was supposed to get back to me and I never got back paid about $170 for a really crappy room. The bathroom had hair in the tub and the toilet wouldn’t flush! On top of that the door a gap and wouldn’t close completely. Over all it was not the best place to stay

We were disappointed.

The receptionist was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Wish there was more I could say good about the facility but there isn't.

We were there for 4 nights to attend Blizzard Bash Demolition Derby. Housekeeping never came to room to pick up trash or give us clean towels. We had to go to front desk to get towels. Using towels over again wasn't an option. Luckily, we brought toilet paper as we ran out! The faucet is to far back on the sink so whenever you wash your hands the water goes all over the counter. Soaking everything on the counter as others weren't paying attention. The heater made a loud noise that kept waking us up at night. The most frustrating was the fact we had to go to the front desk every time we wanted in our room! The cards won't activate the door or else it would be green but we couldn't get door open. Finally the receptionist came down one time and had to throw herself into the door to get it to open.
