For an old motel very well kept up.

The room was clean and cozy.
Check in was horrible. I don't blame the lady who was trying to check us in, I could see she was having computer difficulties. However, the man she was on the phone with was belittling her. Because she didn't have her computer we weren't sure if I needed to pay or not, the man, after yelling at her and I on the phone, said we'd figure it out when I checked out. Mind you I was there for two days, after the first night we went hiking and were gone all day to get back at 11pm to find we had been locked out of our room for "leaving without paying ". I tried to explain what was happening and was told I had been yelling the previous day. I paid for the room and we left first thing in the morning.
Another issue I had, which isn't mentioned in other reviews was how unsafe the area of town was. There were people and cars, who weren't staying at the hotel, constantly coming in and out of the parking lot to go to the soda machine. There was drug parafanilia at the park. It seemed very unsafe. We looked our door and put furniture in front of the door at night.

The overstuffed pillows, the dark leaky shower, and it was cold in the room all night long with the heater on.

The 0lace was full of people living there with pets and blasting music and hanging around outside dealing drugs to people coming in and out all hours of the night. There was nothing good about my stay.
The whole experience

We were right across the street from the lake, the people that run the place were so nice and friendly. We really had a good time.
no view of the lake from any of the rooms but it was still worth the stay.

No coffee maker or iron, everything else was fine.

Nothing! The room was a disaster! First of all it was an ADA room with a roll-in shower that I had definitely not requested. That meant that the water flowed onto the bathroom floor and everything was unavoidably wet. As soon as I turned on the bathroom fan a foul odor started coming out of the vents. It only eventually stopped when I finally turned off the fan. The bathroom door was off the hinge, so it did not close and the foul smell permeated the bedroom as well. The sink was almost falling off the wall so you couldn't place anything on it without it falling into the bowl. There was at least an inch space between the wall and the sink. The single shelf in the bathroom was at such a steep angle that anything you put on it, slid right off. Between the sink and the shelf there was NO space to put personal toiletries as even the lid to the toilet was covered by the angled shelf and you couldn't put anything taller than 3 inches on it.
Every little and large thing! $100 for this shithole was more than twice it deserved! See bathroom description above.

Room's floors although the white tiles turned black with dirt after they were put on the floor. Clearly the floors hadn't been mopped in a while or we were put in a smoking room.
Owner literally argued with me at check-in because he thought service animals all needed a tag/license. I informed him of ADA's minimum requirements (which does NOT require any identification except my verbal confirmation) but he was convinced, because other travelers had a service dog tag, that all service animals required ID. That's incorrect and a heafty minimum fine in court if he actually charged me for my service animal. Owner was willing to gain a $25 per night "pet" free and then to lose a minimum of $4,500 in court. He really shouldn't be operating a business if he doesn't know the laws in which he is operating in.

There was no breakfast, and I was not bothered by anybody knocking on my door!
Very little to no toilet paper, when we let them know that we needed toilet paper 3 different times we didn't get but a half of a roll after waiting for nearly 4 hrs.......

It's close to restaurants and parks.
The beds are hard and the room had a smell to it. There wasn't a variety of channels to watch, The lamp charger didn't work. The curtains are too short I had to put a clip on them to stay closed.
