Bad customer care

The pricing was very good.

The room smelled like weed, stains in the carpet, and the walls were damaged. The beds weren't comfortable and had bad pillows. The staff didn't respond to a noise complaint favorably. All and the experience was not the best. I was also told, the person that could help with the noise issue doesn't answer calls till 4 pm. We checked out at 11 am. Sorry they really were saying nothing was going to happen.

A good location and the pool was nice. The front desk staff was pleasant.

The room was not very clean. I had to ask for more toilet paper and towels. The elevators were always dirty and they still had Halloween decorations in them. People were smoking in the stair wells. The smoke smell was in the hallways and cigarette butts in the stairwell.

The pool STILL wasn’t open. I stayed here in January and they said the pool was closed for maintenance and I picked this place again specifically for the pool and yet again they said it was “closed for maintenance” but they don’t advertise that anywhere

The pool and hot tub were not working and the room stunk and there was wet drywall above the air conditioning unit bed was uncomfortable and it was an all around poor choice of hotel and don’t think I would stay there again.

The worst room for the price.

Bathroom

The first impression of an establishment is the presence of professional employees. All the hotels we have stayed with, the front desk attendant wore a clean shirt with name tag or a jacket. We we greeted by a person thrown together wearing unprofessional tee shirt attire. We paid $253 for a king suite. The sofa and chair were worn to the point where the fabric was ripped and the batting exposed. The sofa was broken and worn. The carpet had so many stains that it looked like a crime scene. I took pictures of all above room conditions. The pillows were 12 inch pillows! We had four mini pillows!! The only good room was the bath room! I do not recommend this hotel in Coon Rapids!! Absolutely horrible!!

Great breakfast and staff

Bed was super uncomfortable. Did not give very good support and felt like you were sleeping on a thin piece of foam and springs.

the toilet ran non stop unless I took it apart…bed was worse than sleeping in my truck seat…..absolutely will be contacting corporate. when I told the lady a check out she couldn’t have had worse customer service or care.

The facility is beautiful. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious.

Beds did not live up to the rest of the hotel. Breakfast seemed lacking, but we were fairly late so that could be why. We have stayed here before and the breakfast was good, so could easily be just a bad day.

Not the worst hotel ever so if “not the worst” is your jam then maybe this works for you.

Good price but you only get what u pay for.

Luke warm food. Nobody was keeping breaker area clean. For example - waffle syrup on floor and also in elevator. No housekeeping service. Smell of weed / pot drifting in from adjacent rooms

Disappointing

Well the only thing that I looked forward to was the breakfast.

First they could not help me in cancellation after a late check in or give me a bigger room I was not expecting that kind of room they should have better advertisement. The hospitality sucked very rude and just out rite rude even the nite crew. Not very friendly and the whole thing was a waste of trip. And there pool was under maintenance they should put that on the ad. All together it sucked

Day staff very friendly and helpful;. Breakfast ok, but person did an excellent job refilling etc.

I had reserved a room that has the king bed with the French doors per the website pictures etc. Being that we have stayed before and had some issues with rooms, I called right after I made my appt. to verify that I had the right room and was told yes. Checked in on Saturday and the room was not the same room as I reserved and called about. Went downstairs to change and told they had no openings, and they have that issue all the time. I get that, but not my fault and I even called to verify I booked the room I wanted. I ended up having to rent another room and I AM NOT HAPPY about that. I will say also our garbage was not emptied under kitchen sink and I opened it up as we could smell something in the room that was raunchy, and it was the garbage with baby diapers in it etc. The garbage did not have a bag in it (or fell into garbage) and so I brought it downstairs that night and the front desk clerk handed me 2 garbage bags and then walked away. I was like, "Sir, I am not going to be the one to empty this as this is gross and not my problem," he looked at me and then grabbed it and emptied it out and then just set it a little hard on the counter. I then proceeded to put the bag in since he could not do it and went back to my room. Unacceptable, Due to the issues with him and the fact I had to pay for another hotel room when I had called and verified that I had the king suite with the French doors and then come and find out, no and it was sold out. I will probably choose to look at another hotel in that area over Thanksgiving area.
