Continental breakfast was not as it used to be.
It was very sparse. The coffee was very bitter and a lingering after taste. A change in coffee brand is needed.

This property blew me away, it’s stunning! My room was a stand-alone cottage with gorgeous citrus trees and flowers in the yard. I’ll be back!

Ambiance. Location. Serenity.
Cable TV never worked. No towel bars. Higher prices.

Everything was wonderful and we will come again! The shower spout wasn’t good.
We loved the place!

The location was great.
We were disappointed that there were no eggs or non-vegetarian options for breakfast. We also thought it was strange that there was no coffee/espresso maker, silverware, or any food in the kitchen/fridge. You have to go to the lobby or put in an online request for anything. We have stayed at places of similar price points in Palm Springs and these have stocked kitchens, bathtubs, and plush robes.

Exceptional historical facility.
Friendly staff and superb amenities.

Two pools, an easy shunt from the room. We didn't bother leaving the complex for two days. A great Breakfast and poolside food kept us going. A big shout out to the staff who were always friendly and pleasant.
The storage for our clothes was limited and no vanity stands in the bathroom, which made things a little difficult, but we improvised. A word of caution, if you use the jacuzzi at night (dark) it's difficult to see the steps leading away from the enclosure.
Housekeeping was a mystery. of our three-night stay, they only came once. I don't know what happened on the other two days. I inquired and was informed housekeeping was based on when I arrived. Confused? me too.
However, housekeeping did an excellent job on that day they were there.

The short visit

Beautiful stay, I desperately need to come back. Very peaceful and tranquil surroundings with the most perfect view of the mountains, ideal location. The bed was a dream, modern furnishings throughout.
Crockery would’ve been handy to have in the kitchen space, however I just took extra from reception at breakfast. Everything was perfect!

The general vibe and location of the hotel was great, staff were pleasant and overall very clean and comfortable.
I was disappointed that the shelf in the kitchen area had been stripped of all interior decoration, there was no free water provided in the room/cutlery, etc, or a turn-down service. This was all due to covid but I had just come from a hotel that provided all of these things and more so kind of see this as an excuse now. The breakfast was very underwhelming and was a buffet style which completely contradicts the other covid measures in place. Had to ask for towels each morning to use the pool and then the staff would bring several for everyone to use, in my opinion, small details like this should already be covered by the staff in a morning routine.

lovely, charming suites reflective of a modernized cottage, bed + breakfast style, great linens and relaxed decor, multiple pools and mountain views
since this is a bed + breakfast style hotel, there isn't an option for services like a spa, poolside drinks/food ordering, or a full menu

We stayed in a One bedroom suite for 2 nights. Casa Cody is just 2 blocks from the main downtown street, walking distance from many great restaurants and shopping. Our suite was wonderful and perfect for the two of us. It had a cute living room with French doors, a small table to eat at and a full kitchen. The king sized bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the shower was great. One of the pools was right in front of our front door but it was still very peaceful and quiet. Big grounds with many plants and fruit trees! You can pick up free coffee and tea 24/7 and also pastries in the morning from the lobby. Staff here is very friendly.
Nothing we did not like!

Great location. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Breakfast was only adequate, but I'm being picky here.

The 1br suite we stayed in was very pretty, very comfortable, very spacious. Breakfast was light but tasty. The staff was mostly great. Kenneth and Diana were fantastic - very polite and helpful. Kenneth must've lit our fireplace a dozen times while we were there.
The amenities were cool, but slightly off - the fireplace could only stay lit for 10 mins at a time, the TV/cable didn't work the whole time we were there, the heater was broken.
