Price. Location.
It’s outdated. Pictures aren’t what the actual hotel looks like.

Convenient location to most places.
The staff were friendly & accommodating/understanding upon check in.
Even though breakfast didn't start until 7, they let my husband & son snag some snacks & coffee for the road around 6:15 since we had to leave early.
We checked in & a yapping dog was directly next to us. Luckily, the front desk lady had already contacted the owners, but they were 2 hours away. She moved us rooms with no issue, as I had a half marathon at 7am the next morning & explained how I needed to get a good night's sleep. She moved us down in the lower numbers (304), which was right by the highway. We heard every road noise, car noise, etc. all night long. Then, around 11pm, a family came in/checked in, something, and their 3-4 children decided to run up and down the halls for 30-45 minutes yelling and screaming.
The beds were also rock hard & none of us (including my 10 year old) slept much all night.

Breakfast was good. Pool was clean.
We stayed miserable from a dog nearby barking the entire time we were there. We made complaints but it never changed.

Breakfast cutoff was extended
Our son was not going to sleep on the pull out bed. It had stains and crackers all over it. He end up sleeping with us. The pictures does not really show all the stains. Someone needs to go and inspect.

The bed was really comfortable.
Pool could definitely be cleaner, hotel needs cosmetic repairs on inside, hotel & room had an unpleasant smell, pool area had a bad smell as well.

Location was easy to access.
Hotel smelled musty and wet. The room 128 we stayed in was dirty - the floors, the bathroom counters, and the bathtub.
The smoke alarm was missing.

The room could have been cleaner. The floors were dirty and surfaces dusty

Breakfast was good. Location was good. Desk hostess was nice and accommodating.
Air conditioner was not working when first arrived in room. General manager had to replace it while we were out to dinner because all rooms were booked. A handle in closet get coming off. Room and restroom was dated. Highway noise heard at night.

The room we stayed in was so filthy that I wouldn’t dare eat the breakfast
Room was filthy and gross. I immediately went back to check in to ask for a refund so that I could find another hotel in the area and I was told that I was not eligible. She said I can show you another available room so I agreed and when we went to look at it there was hair in the tub. She said I can rinse the tub but if hair was still visible in the tub I could only imagine the bed sheets. I told her we would stay in our original room. I payed $496.00 for a 2 night stay. I will never stay at another La Quinta property again.

The breakfast was ok. There should be more protein provided.
The hotel was under construction so halls and entry were littered with debris. The new sinks etc were stacked in the entry way and it looked tacky. There was no pet area. The supposed area was littered with old items, sinks, vanities, etc. from rooms. Also the entire grass area was littered with glass that spilled up onto the sidewalks. Very dangerous for animals and people. Our card key stopped working and two of the staff gave us lectures about storing the key besides a phone etc. We shared that we had not done that. They were not happy they had to go to the room to let us in. She took her time getting to the room and she could not get her master key to work and she was embarrassed. She finally contacted maintenance and they figured out it was an internal error not ours. They never apologized for lecturing us or making us wait 30+ minutes to get into our room. Other things happened but too numerous to mention. The construction was never mentioned when booking the room! We will not take a chance on them again.

We liked that the rooms were being updated. Our room was clean. Staff was friendly.
Rooms were being updated. We were placed into a room that wasn't finished, but staff was told by workers that it was. TV didn't work, a couple of wires stuck out of one wall, work didn't stop until 8:30 pm. Despite this, it was clean and comfortable for a night, so we declined a different room. Access to the hotel was a little tricky. Some road/highway noise.
