the property was very nice. unfortunately, I left after the first night because my biggest priority was the swimming pool which had glass broken into it and was closed. I had to change hotels. when calling and telling staff I was asked “well what do you want me to do?” would have been a lovely stay with these exemptions.
the fact that there was no pool. I was booked for three nights and left with no possible way to refund my other two nights.

The hotel is conveniently located.
The room was just nasty … lamps and furnishings were rusty, dirty and stained, floor and grout were filthy. There was water all over the floor from the refrigerator which was unplugged. The bed coverings were stained. The coffee pot was filthy. We saw two bugs crawling across the floor. The walls and door were so think that we could easily hear other guests. We were coming for a funeral and we weren’t looking for frills or anything upscale … but we did want clean and safe. However, this place felt so yucky and nasty that we honestly didn’t even want to sleep in the bed. I don’t often take the time to leave reviews - but wanted to share this info to hopefully prevent another potential guest from experiencing the same thing. I would pay the extra money next time to stay at a cleaner and safer place.

Check out .
There was blood on the sheets and walls as well as a foot print from a show where someone stood on the sheets of the bed.

Check in was easy and efficient.
Room was reasonably clean but sheets and bedspread were stained. We were told at check in breakfast was at 6:00 but went down at 6:00 only to find the doors still locked. Once door was answered was told “I haven’t even started it yet” and would be between 6:30-7:00.

Staff
Very clean and close to everything. The staff was top notch. I will return again. Stay here and you are close to the mountains and even Helen Georgia. Prices were fair and he property was quiet.

proximity to work
Bed was way too soft and left me extremely sore.

there was NO breakfast. It was a cup of coffee and a pastry. So I couldn't even get orange juice without paying for it in the covienence area. Smelled lots of marijuana all through the night. The entrance/ exit to the hotel is very dangerous. it is located on a very busy street and on a curve that the view is blocked by trees.
I booked using my card through booking.com like I always do. When I arrived I was told I had to pay a $80 deposit also using my card and it would be refunded when I checked out. However I waited over 2 weeks for this to be refunded.

The pool made the stay that much more enjoyable. The location was great, within driving distance of everything.
Breakfast was sorry; no selection of food... Towels were dirty / used, housekeeping waking us up at 7:30 or 8am. These are the big factors that kept my stay from being excellent.

This is our second stay here. It is a great value and reasonable. We checked out at 3 am and found staff alert and friendly at that time as well!
Access to the property has poor visibility on a busy street but there is not much they can do to improve it.
