The location was right around the corner from my primary destination!
The hotel needs some serious upgrades and stronger cleaning products!

Nice and clean rooms
Limited breakfast choice

Breakfast options were limited. I try to stay gluten and dairy free and this was challenging, and led to me shopping at Raleys to stay healthy.

I liked the room having a kitchen. Big bathroom. Breakfast was like a 711.
When I arrived there wasn't anybody at the desk to check me in. The security guard asked for someone on his walkie to come to check a guest in. He told me she went to the bathroom and she would be right back since the bathrooms were right by the front desk. I waited for 10 minutes and got impatient. The security guard noticed my frustration and walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door. The employee came out with her cell phone in her hand. She said to the security guard, "why didn't you tell me?" He responded, "I did." She went behind the desk and started to check me in. I was uneasy knowing that anybody can walk behind the desk and get personal information that is on the computer or in the papers from the mounted mailing organizer on the wall. I felt uncomfortable with the front desk lady having a low-cut shirt with her cleavage showing and a lot of tattoos. When she checked me in, she told me that there was a really good complimentary breakfast for the guests in the morning. She gave me my cards for the room on the upper floor. I was exhausted from traveling and irritated from waiting on check-in service. Finally, I got up to my room and the keys didn't work. So, I had to carry my things back downstairs and exchange the key cards for new ones.
When I got into my room, the place smelled like my grandmother's musky house. The old carpet looked like it harbored too many microorganisms. The old refrigerator knocked loudly at night periodically. Everything was very old and creepy. The walls were thin so I could hear other people talking. Needless to say, I did not get much sleep.
The next morning I went to get the awesome complimentary breakfast that the tattoo check-in lady told me about. There was a Plexiglass container with packaged processed rolls and other packaged items that you would find in 711. Again, no one was at the desk to check me out.

The Staff is always the best there. They are always friendly and helpful. Although this was marred by my room smelling like pee. I will go there again and this time if I am unhappy with my room I will just move. I thought I could handle the smell for one night. But, YES, I will be back. Great Location, great staff and the rooms are usually very clean and nice.
My only complaint was the smell of my room. It is a dog friendly place but my room wreaked of dog pee. I cannot understand how the cleaning people wouldn't be able to smell it. They gave me Odoban spray but it didn't last long. I tried my perfume and it was short lived. I did inform them that it will have to be shampooed. I thought I could handle it for one night but it was BAD!!!

Convenience
1.5
Check in was easy.
No vending machines for water. I asked at the front desk as they had a mini fridge with soda but ran out of water. She told me to walk to the store. Room smelled and we got congested while there from something in the carpet. Black mold on ceiling in bathroom, no bathroom fan.

The location for what we were there for. The building & lobby were clean.
Bed was not comfortable at all. Pillows had a musty smell to them. Luckily we brought our own. The bed was hard even w/the mattress topper on it. Refrigerator was noisy all night long. Hall ways were extremely warm.
