Liked location and price.
Very run down, makes it look dirty even after it’s been cleaned.

I found the Driftwood Inn to be very pleasant and affordable for great little weekend getaway !
A little more attention could be paid too the cleanliness of the nooks and crannies inside the room !

That he didn’t argue with me about wanting my money back just said he will have to keep 10 dollars because that’s what you guys charge him
The room was very disgusting we couldn’t even stay there walked in walked out they did give me my money back except 10 dollars which is fine as long as I got most of it . Them rooms were bad I felt like if I stayed I would probably had bugs ceiling on me

Location close to amenities
The picture above one of the beds wasn't even on the wall. As soon as we sat down it fell onto our bed and us. There was drugs left ontop of the refrigerator. The refrigerator wasn't even plugged in when we got there. There was roaches in it. On the walls and in the bathroom. No heat in the bathroom. Blood on the sheets. The neighbors we're partying and fighting all night long. We would have asked for a refund or just left. But... there's no other options in this town that is remotely affordable. The house keeper never brought us toilet paper or any supplies. It was the worst time staying there ever. The worst. Extremely disappointed. The door didn't even close all the way. And you could see people when they walked by under the door. It was creepy and unsafe. They should be ashamed of themselves. And the fire alarm was covered and wrapped in plastic. So if there was an emergency. You'd never know. Once again unacceptable.

For the price the hotel was fine. It's an older place, but inside was clean. My first impression of the look of it wasn't great, but the staff was helpful and we actually had a nice quiet sleep.
The owner is in the process of fixing up the place so I think it will get better. The exterior needs work. It's no frills, old school motel style. If you want fancy its not for you. If you need a clean, no frills crash, it's fine.

Price & location was good. Liked Fridge & Microwave. Liquor store across the parking lot
Old motel. Had issue with the key card & nobody was around to help at first. Fortunately, the housekeeper was nearby & got me in.

It was the only offering in Chestertown that was on Booking.com on the day that I made my reservation. Next time I will check a bed and breakfast site. I believe that the sheets and pillowcases were clean.
Unfortunatly We arrived when the sun was shining brightly through the front door and window which showed every speck of dust and there were many. There was a smoked-in smell. It looked as If the room was rarely dusted. I was able to open the screened windows to let fresh air in but I was still coughing the entire night from the chemical smell. Right outside the back window was an abandonded toilet and several doorless refridgerators. There was no reading lamp, just a very bright overhead lamp. Ther was mold in the shower. We left as early as we could.

I used to go here in the 80s when it was Foxley Manor. Unfortunately, the place has gone downhill. There used to be a pool though not important in December. The vintage soda machine was also gone though. The addition of microwave and fridge is good but not at the expense of the smokey room.
Even though the room was marked as non smoking, there was a heavy cigarette odor coming from the mattress and bed and bed spread. There weren't any additional blankets. I didn't care about that but the smoke smell was really annoying. I thought about asking for another room but thought they would probably all be that way somewhat. Also the no visitor policy is just annoying though it didn't concern me this trip.

Staff was friendly and allowed needed late checkout
Very old facility. Clean but sparsely furnished. Bed was on aluminum box that made reverberating noise when I moved. only available power outlet was with power strip hanging on wall. Shower tiles leaked water when stepping on. Only pedestal sink.

We came in late and left early, only looking for a bed for the night and a roof over our heads, which this satisfied. The location was in the center of the commercial area of Chestertown, easy to get to, and within walking distance of several breakfast options. Some reviewers said they felt the area unsafe; we didn't have that feeling but we were traveling as a family and not alone.
The room decor was very dated. The bed linens and towels were thin. The rooms were musty (the night manager came in with air freshener as soon as we arrived) and the carpet was sticky.
