You are paying for location and not the room.

The location was perfect but for $250 for one night you would think the maintenance would be so much better. The staff came across as sloppy and bothered. The microwave had a ton of ceiling crumbs under it, the floor was sticky the pillows were flat and the AC did not provide enough cold air to reach the sleeping area. I was so disappointed that I just stayed out of the room as much as I could and enjoyed the location.

The location was nice

The location was nice.

It was extremely loud all night long. Got woken up from what sounded like people partying at 2-3 in the morning. The room was not clean at all. The woman checking me in told me probably 10 or more times that they will tow my car if I forgot to put the thing in the window or if my car was in the lot past 11am on check out day she reminded me “WE TOW CARS.”

Highly disappointed

Location

There was a bed bug on our bed and we were bit up! This was our honey moon. We tried to go to the front desk to discuss no one was there we tried calling the hotel after we had to leave to catch a flight no answer . Highly unpleasant

Could of been a nicer. We felt we paid a bit more for a pool but we could not use it.

Location was great! Housekeeping was wonderful except our last full day there. They went into our room and we had the do not disturb sign on. Felt violated. Did not like that feeling.

The had a pool but we could not use it because the birds were constantly in it. 2nd shift (BLK WOMAN) Was very rude! She has a very bad attitude and it's too bad. Everyone else was amazing. The ice machines are not taken care of, had to buy ice from the liquor store across the street. The loveseat in our room was severely damaged but they allowed us extra sheets to cover it up. They were changing the locks on the door and walked into our room. What if we were changing.

1960s room that felt dirty

Location

Everything 1960s rooms. I went through 3 rooms before I got a key card to work. Then when I yd the the room wasn't clean and said I was leaving. They wouldn't give me my money back.

Passable

Just the location we enjoyed. The property is really old and not well maintained. Even the sign on the door fell off during our stay. It was not clean at all. Each time we need to ask for the towel or basic staff rather than them providing us daily. Compared the money we paid the service was not good.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary this past weekend 8/11-8-13. #1 my husband asked for a different room because the air conditioner was to Loud. When we asked for another room she said no because we went through Booking.com. While we were staying there for the weekend the front desk person gave our room to 2 different couples on Saturday 8/12 with thinking that no one was there! Because it was because we went through booking.com! Which did not make sense. My husband was upset with the clerk because she didn’t take any responsibility.

The clerk was extremely rude. For the hotel having 5 floors there was only one elevator. The breakfast area only had 5 tables in it. Very little space. The room that I chose with booking.com, the picture only showed 1/2 the view from one room. It didn’t show the building in front of our room. I have pictures if you want me to send them. No update in many many years. We loved it 15 years ago. We will never go there again ! Absolutely terrible service!

We were on the 5th floor pool view. Nice view of the beach. Rooms were clean.

The ac barely worked. It was so hot at Night. The breakfast wasn't good. Milk was expired. Bagel had mold. Elevator smelled.

We had a good short trip! The construction made it a little annoying but everything else was smooth!

Great location & A good bang for your buck.

I loved that. The property was so close to the beach. It was also very close to lots of restaurants and stores, which made it convenient. I like that I had a patio, and that there was a second room with the couch, a table in a small fridge and stove top. I thought the beds were very comfortable and the sheets were very crisp.

The property was a little dated. What I really didn’t like was the stove top was old and rusted. Also the couch that was in the sitting area was absolutely filthy. There were so many stains on top of it that I couldn’t even consider utilizing it for sitting or for sleeping. It was very filthy. It did fold out, which initially was a plus but when I lifted up the cushions, it smelled pretty stale and like it needed to be cleaned.

With this hotel the view of the gulf is what you are paying for. Don't expect much more.

The location and the view was more than worth the money we paid for the week we spent at Clearwater Beach. The amount of great places to check out in the area is AMAZING! We ate at more then a few restaurants within walking distance that we loved. Pier 60 was fun, and the whole vibe of the area was awesome. Our hotel room was very big and cleaned regularly. The balcony overlooking the gulf was breathtaking!

The upkeep of the property was not good, there was dirt everywhere and you could tell nobody cared about the outside areas of the property. The bars in the area play music very loud until 2 or 3 A.M. making sleeping not an easy task. The elevator was out of order for more then a day causing us to hike to the fifth floor and back multiple times in 84 degree weather. I would have liked to sat around one of the firepits, but they were not working at all. Also the breakfast that was provided was substandard for the price we were paying.

We loved coming to this hotel to go see the Phillies spring training ! Everyone is so friendly !

We didn’t use any breakfast facilities. Loved the location close to the restaurant/bars/ beach!

We expected the pool to have its private bar but the bar was not in use!

Room could be updated, not enough electrical outlets, toilet tank cover did not match toilet...difficult to find flushing handle. When I arrived, after receiving a message I could check in between 2-3, I was unable to check in, and sent off to "explore". Evening shift person was very unhelpful. Asked for a towel for the beach..."There aren't any, they should be available in a couple of hours."

The location is perfect as it is right across from the beach and short walk to bars, restaurants and shops. Staff were lovely on reception. The room had coffee facilities and toiletries.

The hotel itself is very tired looking and is a bit run down. The room we had was not private as there was a balcony walkway which went past our room so anyone could look in the window. For the cost of the accommodation I felt it was a bit much for the hotel itself.

The pool and fire pits were nice and being right on the strip was wonderful. The staff were amazing as well. Easy check in and check out.

Needs updated rooms for that location but was a great price for the stay so I can't really complain.
