The location was great on the way from Denver to Taos.

The room was quite basic and the breakfast was not very fulfilling.

Easy to find, near McDonalds. Working AC and mini fridge. Lovely front desk woman who helped us find a handicapped entrance. Lots of cameras.

The room description said king size bed, but was only a queen bed. There were two adults and a child who had to fit in a Queen size bed to have a ground floor room. They don’t have handicap Kings. The grab bars for the toilet were behind the toilet, ineffective. The shower was dirty with someone else’s hair on the wall. I had to request towels, as only one was in the room. Our reservation was for three. People were smoking even if it’s a non-smoking hotel.

The staff is wonderful and very helpful.

Breakfast had stale donuts and very clean bed

Felt safe working around the area, you can have Macdonald's cross street and even a Waffle House near by can provide 24/7 meal. If you feel bored travel alone, there is a bar next door. Police car come and go all the time.

They don't provide in house laundry, you have to carry your dirty clothes and walk across street to a corner laundry shop to have your clothes cleaned, that laundry shop is very busy because they are MHPs nearby, people bring tons of clothes there and you might need to wait, but the price is reasonable.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast grab and go bag was awesome. We are early risers so to grab a couple of Muffins, donuts, fruits etc and coffee when heading out in the morning worked well for us. Also, lots of fine dining places in the Castle Rock downtown area to enjoy great food. Overall best value for the money spent on a budget class motel.

MOST IMPORTANT - I still haven't received any information about refunding me a so-called "damage deposit" of $50.00 which I had to pay on check-in. No other hotel did that. AND Booking.com did not warn me. And Booking. com has not been at all helpful in contacting the OYO Hotel Castle Rock to follow this up. Very disappointed in the fact that online said breakfast included. There was no breakfast. If we had known that we would not have stayed there for that price. We have paid less than 85:00 for rooms and gotten a great breakfast.

room was dirty, out dated, housekeeping came in my room at 10pm, plugs were loose and I couldn’t charge my phone, the tv didn’t work, heater was loud, neighbors were loud, no elevator, bed was squeaky, charged a deposit that I wasn’t aware of until i arrived at the facility.

no heat no lights no TV no outlets They did offer to move me to another room that would have whatever issues also .

The lobby reeks of cigarettes even with giant “no smoking” signs everywhere. Very dirty & front desk staff was RUDE. Two different employees were the rudest hotel employees I’ve ever dealt with & I travel a lot. I will never recommend for my family to stay here again.
