Our dinner for our 50th Anniversary was most excellent. Our kudos go out to the chef whose expertise was greatly, appreciated & savored!
Bed mattress had a sinking dent in the middle. Bedroom had a dresser too close to the foot of the bed, making it a very narrow pathway to the rest of the room; could be a fire hazard.

süßes Chalet in der Natur, wohlfühl Atmosphäre, perfekt Ausgestattet, nette Mitarbeiterin am Empfang
Badezimmer war eiskalt, durch den Regen/Schneefall hat es leider herein getropft

Very nice location right on the lake.
Confusion with check-in and check-out

The Pines is a fantastic place.
Great location and great food in the restaurant. Staff are courteous and friendly.
True value for money , for sure other places could earn a lot from here.
4.2
The chalet in the woods as opposed to the terribly noisy lake view.
Chalet had no sound proofing whatsoever. Noisy family next door may as well have been in our space. No real kitchen equipment or cleaning items.

Awesome staff and location

the location is great
they leave a lot to be desired in the cleanliness of the huts… a lot of mold and dirt that makes the place look unkempt

We loved the lodge but the sofa bed was horrible, very noisy and very uncomfortable. The jacuzzi and the pool where nice and the restaurant was also very nice . We borrowed some fun games . We had a great time
We didn,t get to see the bears 🫣.
And there was trash under the balkony which we cleened up .

the location is good
it’s was filthy, blood stained sheets, pubic hair in bathroom, random nails/staples from old carpet just sticking out there floor.

Nothing everything was perfect

staff not too friendly. uncomfortable bed, coffee maker not working (even after (replacement). asked for final bill, was told it had to come from booking.com

We love the staff, the chalets and the grounds of Pines Resort. We enjoyed the shops and dining at Duceys.
The layout of the master bedroom was a little cramped with a very large dresser on one side of the bed could have been better.

Nearness to lake. Comfort of room and appointments. Staff couldn’t have been nicer and gracious.
Minimal handicap accessibility. Staff informed us only one room in the facility was handicap accessible and someone had a long-term rental. Store fronts have minimal accessibility as wheelchair ramps were not available. Hard to travel with wheelchair-bound partner because too many facilities provide minimal or inadequate facilities. The Pines tries very hard but if my husband was completely wheelchair bound we couldn’t stay here.

The scenery and spacious chalet were the best parts of this trip and stay on this property. The space in the chalet would be fun for a family getaway.
We didn’t like that we were directly attached to another chalet, so it was hard to have privacy on the balcony, which was huge reason we wanted to stay there in the first place. Then the smoke/carbon monoxide detector started beeping every other minute around 2 AM and continued beeping until we checked out. Needless to say, I did not get a good nights rest, it felt like I got no rest at all, and this was my birthday. When I told the front desk staff at check out, they said “we’ll have someone change the battery’s,” and there was no effort to make this right. This was a $400 a night room. Hearing that loud beep all night, unable to sleep, and then having the staff not give a damn was so disappointing. This was supposed to be a fun getaway birthday trip. Had that not happened (the smoke detector stealing my sleep) and we had a private balcony (not hearing our neighbors conversations and cigarette smoke), this birthday getaway would’ve been perfect.

The lodges and proximity to yosemite.
It was a little tired, but already looking to rebook.

anyone involved with the Pines was great in every way, from the moment we arrived till the time we left.
only the four o’clock check - elven o’clock check out. your skimming five hours of a day. just a bit excessive.

privacy and atmosphere
nothing

The view from room was excellent, was large and bed was comfortable.
Paid for a Spa suite but the spa did not work, the tub did fill but no jets. Also the tub fixtures were very loose, almost falling off with only being connected by the water supply lines. Cobwebs.

Disgusting. Was the worst maintenance ever seen. We had blood on our bed sheets and the carpet was so dirty that our feet were black walking from the bathroom to the beds ( 5 ft).
