Ideal location! Comfy room, albeit a bit small. Very clean and neat. Staff were super helpful. All in all, a wonderful stay. Would definitely like to return in the future.
There was no breakfast option.

Everything!! This is a perfect place!
The lovely staff were so welcoming. The room and bed are nicely decorated. Very relaxing.
They let us check in early because of the state wide winter storm was basically shutting down the whole town.
They have plenty of good coffee, tea and water for the guests.
Very clean.

excellent location near Harvard square, and a great restaurant across the street, Pammys

convenient location
Staff not well trained to solve problems, give information or respect guest privacy. I had asked for a repair in my room and two guys showed up with a screwdriver and good intentions but ignored the do not disturb sign on my door and entered the room without even knocking because “we thought you were out on a walk” The manager was only mildly apologetic about this. They all need better training. The room was clean but a little worn out. Over priced room for quality of service and amenities.

the location is perfect for visits to Harvard and the rooms are comfortable.
There is no breakfast or mini bar, you can’t open the window and the evening clerk was not very service oriented.

The place is very well located, near Harvard University. The hotel is nice and the room is comfortable.
They could add a mini fridge to the room, I always had to bring cold bottle of water at night to have cold water during the night.

location great
carpet in room filthy and stained: really disgusting:
room over subway shuddered every time train went through.

location, lobby, comfortable bed, coffee machine downstairs
10.0 / 10.0
I loved this hotel especially because of its location so near Harvard University, and the bounteous coffee machine choices in the lobby. The staff was very kind and even helped me switch rooms at one point because of a phone issue, and they were always very friendly. They also provided me with some refrigerator space for some leftovers that I had from one night of dining. Great place to spend a couple of nights.
Honestly, the only issue I had was the expense, but there's not much you can do about that in the US right now, especially in the middle of a major American city (and the location of this place is quite ideal). I noticed that you could hear the red line running down below, but it didn't bother me much at all. I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is very nice and well-kept. The staff was kind and the hotel offered free, 24/7 Nespresso coffee and waters. It’s in a great area and within walking distance of almost anywhere I wanted to go on my trip.
The carpet in my room was littered with stains. Everything else was clean and well-kept but the stains should be removed, even if the carpets are vacuumed and cleaned regularly.

I stayed here by myself during a visit to Harvard. Very convenient location to access the campus and close to the T stop if you want to go into Boston. Comfortable room, complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby, beautiful design, and very nice staff.
During the day of my stay the hotel called me to let me know they had overbooked and wanted to pay for my stay in a comparable hotel. I actually didn't see the call until after I had checked in (they must have freed up space), but had I seen it this would have been stressful. Additionally, while Booking.com does say there is a valet fee no one mentioned this fee when I was checking in, which I would have expected.

Location is great - room was clean
Had to go outside in the freezing cold to get a decent breakfast - only coffee or tea were offered - and water

The location was fantastic for our purposes - less than 10 min walk to Harvard Square. The space was 'compact' but entirely adequate for two people overnight (or a couple days - after that you might want to upgrade to a larger room). We were pleasantly surprised to find we had a balcony with chairs that gave a view toward the pretty church next door. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the interiors are attractively decorated. Staff was pleasant and helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations.
The only issues we encountered were a discovery of some ants (not an 'infestation', but clearly coming from somewhere nearby) in the carpet, although we had no food in the room at the time, and the very bight LED light on top of the television that cast a glow over the whole room in the dark, which I remedied by covering it with a towel.

Location. Nespresso in the lobby
There was no housekeeping at all. Very convenient to blame COVID for everything. It was lazy and deliberately misleading. The safe practices to deal with COVID is well established by now. The planes are flying, people are fed at the restaurants, kids are taught at schools. I would understand if the bed linen is not changed every day (I stayed four nights), but, no cleaning, no fresh towels, no clearing of waste baskets. Nothing was mentioned on Booking website. At Check in they give you a piece of paper with the outrageous practices listed.
