It was comfortable and it was a good value.
It appears that the hot tub has been being repaired since 2020. The facility is showing its age.

Convenient to Spirit Mountain. Good price. Rooms were clean enough. Heavy cleaning chemical smell, though.
Would have been really nice to know up front that the hot tub and sauna were out of order.

Clean, comfortable rooms, and a roomy refrigerator. The breakfast was very good, many choices of food, its one of the reasons we stayed there again,

The TV was very small.

The locate was great, staff was friendly and helpful. Temperature on pool was great.
Room smelled really, really bad of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. I had to go out and buy an odor-eliminating room spray to use in order to make it bearable. I left the window open with the fan running, which helped.

Really enjoyed our stay at Duluth Spirit Mountain Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good.
The Inn was a little on the older side; however, it was kept very clean.
4.0 / 10.0
The staff was very nice and accommodating.
Beds not comfortable. Carpets need to be cleaned in the rooms or replaced.
8.0 / 10.0
Breakfast every morning with waffle maker. Plenty of juices & different kinds of cow's milk. Bed mattresses were perfect. Everything was clean. It was quiet at night without kids running up & down the halls.
The sauna & hot tub were down for repairs. The breakfast bar had no protein or fresh fruit. Just apples/bananas & hard boiled eggs would have made the food nutrition complete.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.
The outside steps to the lobby are not safe, need repair ASAP.
The hot tub was closed.

Location was good for us travelling thru from Winnipeg to Sault St. Marie. or juices
The offered breakfast lacked protein ie. eggs with either sausage or bacon, the coffee was weak, no fresh fruit

I booked two days ahead of my arrival because it had a pool and free breakfast. Then a few hours later I got email that said there would be no pool or breakfast due to COVID which was very disappointing. When we arrived the pool was open and there was breakfast so the communication was poor.
The steps leading from the parking lot to the main office are steep, uneven, and broken.

Friendly staff, very truthful.
steps outside were dangerous, hot tub was broken, housekeeping staff shorthanded, continental breakfast didn’t offer a lot.

Really wish they’d fix the hot tub
6.0 / 10.0
The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the rates were reasonable.
The stairs leading into the building were questionable even after being salted. The beds were not comfortable. The breakfast was okay but there weren’t many options. The walls are very thin so you can hear everyone around you.
7.0 / 10.0
The pool was open. The room was average and comfortable. The staff was friendly.
The kitchen had a variety of food to choose from. And, there was a fridge in the room which was great!
The hot tub was closed and the website did not disclose that information prior to my reservation. The hottub was the reason I chose this hotel so I was very disappointed to find out it was closed.

Staff was very helpful! Katy and Sam help us a lot when our trailer got stuck going up the hill to get to the hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. It is good location if you travelling and need a place to stay next to the highway.
The hotel should mention that it is on top of a steep hill. There are to roads to reach the hotel and they are both difficult to access in winter. Our trailer got stuck going up the hill on the main road to the hotel, since there was lots of snow, we were not aware that there is a ditch right on the side of the road, the hotel staff helped us get out of there but I think the hotel should have some warning or sign at the bottom on the entrance as is not easy to see from there how steep and difficult the road up is.

Room was clean, staff pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast could of been better, we were there at 8 and not much selection was left.
6.0 / 10.0
The room was clean, the pillows are too thick. Staff was great. Breakfast was decent.
The pool room isn't enclosed, freezing in there. Couldn't swim long. The stairs into hotel should be in a fun house, slanted and a little scary. Breakfast is all carbs and sugar, no protein but it had more options than most; if you like muffins, toast, waffles, bagels, and small yogurt. Hot Tub and sauna were broken and not even in pool area. Walls are thin, but staff is very nice and helpful.
