Very interesting building. Great grounds. Very nice and helpful owners. Good parking. Excellent breakfast.
Somewhat old bed and furniture, but that’s also part of the buildings charm.

My stay at Stirling could not have been better. From the mansion architecture to its historical decor (highly recommend a listen to the gramophone!), and from the purple pancake breakfast to pups, this place was a 5-star treat all the way around. And that is my take on the property only. The hosts were highly accommodating, pleasant, and excelled at taking care of us. We felt truly welcome—and will hopefully return!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. We were arriving late in the evening and Mr. Joe still came to greet us and give us a tour of the mansion. Mr. Joe told us the marvelous history of the mansion. The decor and amenities on the main floor were perfect from the Men's parlor to the beautiful portraits of the family and their adorable pets. Our room was totally warm and inviting and everything was clean and also beautifully decorated. Ms. Martha prepared delicious meals and made everything to our liking. Mr. Cesar is the perfect host.
It wasn't warm enough to swim in the pool.

This house preserves a slice of history that cannot be recreated in twentieth century facilities. The owners and staff are uniquely suited to maintain and present an amazing and imaginative experience. While the main custom may be oriented to weddings and other social functions the travelling history buff, the mature couple and the lover of antiques will appreciate the Gables at Sterling as a gem. Comestibles like evening wine tables and breakfast to order were a cut above. Cesar, Marta, and Stefan were most welcoming and helpful hosts.
Older guests may find the stairs a challenge (no elevators for the three floors) but they staff ensure that assistance is at hand. The curatorial eye focussed on the quality of the renovations but could have provided more insight into the family history through pamphlets and signage explaining paintings, instruments, and original furniture.

History, uniqueness, friendly staff, comfort, originality
Everything from the hospitality to the comfort and accommodations were phenomenal, needless to say the Mansion was gorgeous along with the history that was provided to us was very cool!

This by far was the best B&B experience I have ever had. We stood here this weekend to celebrate our 26 wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed our stay! From the moment we entered to the very end we were treated as if we were the only guest by the attentiveness given by Caesar. The hotel, room and the architecture very detailed and the cleanliness was top priority by all. This place is a hidden secret the grounds were just beautiful the staff must be commended on a job well done! The energy of the staff was infectious! I became so used to poor service and attitudes during the pandemic that I forgot what good service felt like.
The food was outstanding everyday fresh home made food. We felt like if we were dining in a 5 star 💫 ⭐️ Restaurant. The personal tour that was given to us took us back in time. You will definitely NOT regret staying here.
Caesar you are a very courteous, polite and delightful soul! I pray that GOD will continue to bless that heart of yours in everything you do. Thank you for our warm welcome! We will definitely be visiting this location again !

We liked everything from start to finish. We stayed here for our 8th wedding anniversary and it was such a beautiful place. Cesar gave us a great and informative tour when we checked in. The breakfasts were top notch and I would say probably our favorite part was the homemade Filipino doughnuts that Cesar made. Our room was gorgeous and loved all of the history and character of the buildings and the grounds. Also, it was a quick Uber ride to West Reading where we went and checked out several breweries and there was a lot to do in that area. We now want to go to the second location in Philadelphia for a long weekend.

Beautiful Victorian mansion located in Reading PA. My wife and I loved the facilities, ambiance, architecture. The owner Caesar made us feel right at home.
Nothing, it was great

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was amazing, one of the best offered at a B&B! Everything was spotless and super clean. I would definitely return.

Mansion is truly like going back in time. Regina was awesome and gave us a tour and the story behind the two mansions owned by this family. Was a bit concerned about traveling due to the Covid but every precaution was taken to ensure everyones safety. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed everything about this place and the history you can see in the surrounding areas as well. Will definitely be back.
It is an older structure so heating it is a challenge, could have been a bit warmer for my taste.
