An okay place to stay, but not worth the price.

The breakfast was okay. The no-frills dining room was clean. Parking was good. The staff we interacted with were nice. Our room was clean.

The rooms are small and definitely need to be updated. The bathrooms are also very small with no counter space.

Nice hotel, but a few concerns.

The location was great. Walking distance to everything. Close to dining and a grocery store. Safe, clean, and friendly. It was fun to have the mini golf and an indoor pool. Coffee available all day.

Walls were very thin. You could constantly hear the doors slamming of the other rooms. In fact, on our last morning, I counted at least 20 door slams between 6am and 8:30am. I had hoped to sleep in for a long day of travel, but was up at 6am. You can also hear people outside in the parking lot and the garage collection. I would suggest asking patrons to close the door quietly instead of letting them slam behind them. I also did not care for the no housekeeping. We stayed for 3 days and there was no housekeeping. You have to ask for towels. For the price we paid ($284 a night), the hotel could provide a minimum of at least coming in and replacing towels and emptying the trash. Breakfast was grab and go. Didn't bother us much as we ate outside. Also, there are stairs only, so if you have lots of luggage, you want to request first floor room.

Met our needs for a one night stay

The room was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Miniature golf was an added plus. Did not take advantage of the pool or business center..

The price was on the high side for a room nowhere near Lake Superior. Not sure what was going on in the room above but definitely heard heavy foot traffic through the ceiling, Wording for free breakfast is misleading. The use of the word buffet meant package cereals, muffins and Jimmy Dean sandwiches. The package hard boiled eggs were not edible.

Was a nice hotel, always enjoy the area

Hotel was very nice, updated feel to it.

Mattress were very firm, little too much. We were also put between rooms of a hockey team and when they came in and left the following morning were extremely loud.

Best short day trip!

All the staff was friendly, helpful, and had the best attitudes!!! With employment struggles in the hotel business, this hotel seems to know how to have great employees!

Very sad we missed the cutoff for the putt- putt course on the property. It was unusually warm weather for the area- we totally understand.

Great bathrooms and loved that there was a mini fridge and microwave available.

The breakfast was disappointing for how much the nightly rate was. The beds were not very comfortable.

Location was easy to get to and located within most activities. Breakfast was average. Staff was very friendly.

We stayed on a Wed & Thur night. We ended up paying double the rate for Thurs night because there was a tall ship event going on over the weekend which we were not aware of at the time of making reservations. I thought it was an error made in the charges but it was just a reason for the company to charge more and not accept discounts because of the event.

The night Manger was super helpful. Unfortunately, one of the beds bedding was stained on fitted sheet and the duvet. She came up and changed the whole bed, and apologized several times. The morning breakfast and 24/ coffee tea apple cider cocoa made our stay nice. I wish we had time to play miniature golf.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Clean facility and quiet location. Bed was comfortable.

I was surprised that there still wasn't hot breakfast because of covid, but we enjoy eating breakfast out so it wasn't a big deal.

Super expensive for a very basic hotel. 300.00/ night is outlandish for a country inn. Otherwise the inn itself was fine/normal for a basic hotel.

Love the location but price for people to crash before BWCA at over 600$ for 2 rooms for 10 hours is REALLY REALLY hard to swallow

Very nice and clean for the price. Good accommodations with a free breakfast.

An elevator would have been helpful. I have issues with my knees so carrying suitcases up to 2nd floor was a challenge.
