It was in the heart of everything
There was a balcony outside of our room. Though it was lovely, it was sometimes noisy in front of our window.

historical hotel, comfortable, good value and location
I had to change rooms at 11 pm because of person in room above wouldn’t stop stomping around the room. not soundproofed well between floors

The location was perfect in town and the holiday decorations were fantastic. The inn has the Hallmark movie feel.
The front desk staff didn't provide all the needed information to make my stay wonderful upfront. I had to keep asking about restaurants, location of stuff on the property etc.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The location is great and everything in town was in walking distance from the hotel.
We can’t say a bad thing about it!

Location was excellent. Because of timing the restaurant was not open for dinner. We were disappointed because apparently in October the town activities are very limited until weekends. We will perform better research

Front desk older woman - not pleasant rushed us and was not friendly- she should make beds not be at a front desk- shouldn't deal with people. The younger girl was pleasant and nice.

Our stay was very quiet and laid back. The decor of the building is so romantic! The room was very cozy. We came simply to get away from life and to relax which is exactly what we did. We absolutely loved how almost everything we wanted to see was within walking distance and we recommend taking a night to go eat at MYST everything was DELICIOUS.
We tried a variety of foods at the Broadway Grille and almost everything we ordered came out cold and lacking flavor, although our waitress was very nice. I would definitely expect better food and a better menu to be linked to such a cute hotel.

Location was excellent... Center of town. Absolutely beautiful, like you've stepped back to a place time forgot. Preserved in the Victorian Era. We were there to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was Sunday December 26th, not many places open. Would be better right before Christmas or fall. Steeped in tradition but can't see staying more than a day. Great for day trip of sight seeing but not for anyone seeking nightlife or modern amenities. My husband and I will go back in fall around Halloween with kids and grandchild for train ride and walk through town about an hour but if museums, prison, mansions are open... 3 hours.
No duvet on bed... Sheet over thin blanket, then sheet. Shocked at noisy Main st. For price I was really disappointed no duvet, especially December in northeast PA. Upon checking in (and booking) I mentioned it was our 25th anniversary. The rep at check In responded "isn't that exciting" like she read it from a boring book. I laughed out loud at how robotic and disinterested she was.

The room was perfect for us. Nicely clean and organized. WE were in the front so we had a good view of the street with all building. Also the dining room attached to the INN was perfect for us.
Parking was a problem in you town. We found that was a issue. We dealt with it by leaving our car parked and visiting all stores that were open for us to see.

The facilities have an old world feel without lacking on pampering the guests.
The town overall lacks a pool table!

The Inn is a great location! Beautiful hotel built in 1840's, well kept. Will be returning.

Location. All employees, at desk and in the restaurant, were very pleasant and helpful.
The minimal, and tight, parking was a bit of a pain.

Everything was wonderful. Only a one night stay.

Room exceptionally comfortable. We loved the porch and being able to sit out there and relax. Staff in restaurant (especially the waitress serving us breakfast on June 3rd)
Very little..
