It was fair due to the price the location was awesome everyone was welcoming and helpful the housekeeping was super helpful as well. We will stay here again bang for your buck. If you don’t like spiders or tree roaches then this may not be the perfect choice they are outside in the trees.
Beds could have been locked instead of rolling and parking was a little akward.

This place was likely wonderful in the 80s. Plenty of space and not overcrowded. Our beds and room were overall clean! The staff were responsive and most of them very kind! We were not aware that the check-in desk is not staffed 24hr. Reception person waited for us to check in and helped us find our cottage.
1. No internet - after asking about the internet some came to install a modem/router and it still did not work. It said good connection and no internet... Cannot count on having internet here.
2. Remote incompatible - TV was not working either. The remote did not seem to be able to communicate with TV. They brought a new remote. Staff were responsive, helpful! Just a handful of channels and could not stream/connect my own device to the TV.
3. No trash can(s) or iron at all in the room. The room service person was kind enough to offer to bring one, by that time we assigned a plastic bag as trash.
4. Grounds not maintained well. I intended to ask about the hiking trail or fishing, but the front desk staff seemed frustrated with me after asking for internet and tv. After exploring the grounds found that there was a walking path but not a hiking trail. Ponds are fishable.
5. We were given an address that was to the unused hotel, and we're not informed that we should go to the cottages instead. Receptionist left a voicemail that I did not get since I had bad signal. We were able to call the property and ask where to go given there was no check-in desk at the hotel. We were given a room at the cottages. Despite this the receptionist that night was very kind and even helped us find our room/cottage. Would have appreciated getting information about wifi, amenities (how to check out fishing rods, walking path, pool hours, places to eat around the area, etc.).
We only spent a brief time here. These issues made us feel unwelcome, a burden for asking for internet, Tv or should expect no trash cans. Our comfort was not prioritized besides the staff the first night. Will likely choose another place to stay going forward.

the neighbor would bother us every time he heard our door open the first night

We rented this room because we did not have electricity or water from hurricane Nicolaus. The room was old, but clean with hot water and air conditioning.
No wi-fi in our room. Rooms are outdated

Its a gated little community so felt very safe. The rooms are little cottages. Very spacious. Price was great. Beds were most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel.
It was a little confusing. The property is not on the address shown, however they do send an email with the office address and they will tell you where to go.

Friendly staff, room was clean.
Property is so old. Paint on the wall was falling off. Window ac unit was super old and noisy. Towels were white with yellow marks. Electric had short on restroom. Also hair dryer was shorted too.

Once we got there it was amazing! The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Nice clean room with microwave and mini fridge, location was not an issue as we were just passing through. The lady that checked us in was extremely helpful and very nice. We can't wait for our next opportunity to be in the area!
It was a bit confusing getting there as its located inside a gated community.

The room was spacious.....bed was comfortable
The bathroom was tiny.......if you are claustrophobic then I wouldn't rent a cottage. There is no cable for the tv only antenna. Maid services didn't come I had to buy trash bags after 3 days of my 11 night stay. I was charged double the price because I paid on Booking.com and when I got there and told the lady I paid there she said she doesn't take Booking.com. So now I'm fighting Booking.com for my $650.00 back.

Loved the silence, the view, all of the amenities; other than that, it was affordable with friendly staff:)
Needed more lighting for the walkway to our cottage&vehicle. Shower head could use an update as well. Housekeeping should come up with a way to keep track of their own towels instead of just going in and grabbing whatever towel seen..the wall outlets could use some fixing as well ; the gate entrance could use an update for those who live here/ reserving , like a magnetic type of gate access instead of still having to wait for them to stop you to see the paper tag .

Nothing.
The key card didn't work and no Mgr did not get another key card she unlocked it with a key and said don't let the door shut behind you... the water pressure was terrible, towels were stained, bed made loud sqeeking noises.

The surrounding area was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The shower had good pressure.
The sink wouldn't turn off. The cabinet doors fell off the microwave holder. There was trash left. The window unit looked like it had mold or mildew around the sides. The toilet wasn't secured.

The gated community .
Website was not updated ,hotel was closed for renovations, so we stayed in the cottages , pool was not open , housekeeping only came once in 3 days ,room was not clean , dead bugs all beside the bed and in the Windows, air conditioning was very loud and the bathroom had black mold in it.Would not recommend staying here .

The location is great!
I didn't get the right amount of towels and if your key stops working; you have to wait on someone to open the door.
