Nothing. Their pool and restaurant has been closed for some time, but it was not listed on booking.com so it's not really the hotel's fault. Their appears of being argument between the hotel and booking.com about. He said she said who updated who about the facilities.
Stains on the curtains. Dirty computer chair. No pool. No restaurant, no breakfast. You can't walk easily from the hotel to the parking lot. You have to walk around the entire building.

.staff friendly
TV remote had some nasty spludge on it and didn't work. Public hairs in toilet. Hair on floor in bathroom. The fridge smelled like something dead. Disgusting

Pool was closed and didn't say that on the website when we booked, and outside looked like it was condemned. Need to update website and pictures on website

Nothing.
Pool was closed. Room was dirty. Microwave did not work. There must’ve been a few inches of dust built up behind the night stand and beds.
3.5
no cable tv and the outside appearance was not good

Comfortable beds. Good water pressure. Short drive to MSU campus.
Not enough people at the hotel. Seemed desolate.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of towels and soaps. Easy to find and good dining nearby.
Toilet needed help to flush
Microwave and coffeemaker didn't work.
No breakfast or coffee available
Antenna TV only
No USB ports
The place was clearly grand at one time but now looks shabby.

it was old, dirty and uncomfortable

decorated okay
dirty. furniture falling apart and torn. only one door working so you have to walk around the whole building to get in. pool closed. bar closed. computer systems down. waited 2 hours for them trying to reboot their server before booking somewhere else. their lobby was freezing cold and my kids were tired. also had two grown men in the lobby that kept walking past staring at my daughters. one even tried to take video of the girls before being confronted by my husband. we thought it best to just leave before my husband ended up in jail…

Facility was clean
The facility as a whole was a bit dated and in need of renovation. Parking lot in the back was a bit gloomy.......overgrown with weeds, and the lot itself could have used some re-paving( nice landscaping, something to cheer it up).

No breakfast, location was ok beds were the only thing great about our room..we couldnt get extra towels, pool was closed due to covid and the room lamp shades were filthy, tv remote was broken, bathroom wasnt cleaned really well, whole hotel has a weird mold smell, A/c heater vents were covered in mold and dust.

Our room was very comfortable and once we were settled in for our few days there we were then self-sufficient. We could see that it is a beautiful facility that unfortunately due to circumstances right now was not shining as it could. It had a beautiful courtyard that many guests took advantage of using as a gathering place to eat and play. There appeared to be a lounge and breakfast area that unfortunately we're not available and we were forced to go out in search of food.
Very large conference hotel still not fully operational from pandemic, nothing was open. It was extremely understaffed for the people arriving for a national competition being held in town. We were told they had the desk person and one housekeeper and that was consistent for our 4 days there. The parking lot was on the side of the building from the front desk and across the street and the main entry door on that side that was closest to the room elevators, was kept locked making hauling luggage and just going in and out unnecessarily hard. We specifically booked here because of a hot tub in the pool area but it was never open and I know there were other hotel's that some of our traveler's stayed at that did have theirs open.

N/a
There was only one working ice machine in the entire hotel, which was on the 2nd floor. This floor was poorly lit and the room with the ice machine smelled bad. The pool at the hotel was still closed due to covid, according to the sign at the front desk, when all other hotel pools in the area were open. There were only a few parking spots available, the others were cordoned off with a sign stating the area was for Consumers Energy use only. There were random people lurking in the hotel in the hallways that didn't appear to have rooms.
There should also be a disclaimer on the website that people live in this hotel and have dogs living in their rooms.
This at one time seemed to be a beautiful hotel, and the photos shown are very deceiving as to the current conditions.

This place was probably jumping with a nightclub on premise and convention center attached. The fish pond and garden area off the lobby was very nice.
They tried on a breakfast but failed. Parking is a problem and challenge

Arrived to a snotty staff and the room hadn’t been cleaned from previous guests their response to this was “we can give you a refund or you’ll have to deal with it”

Sadly I can't say I liked anything about my stay there. Not even the service. The gentleman that worked that Sunday morning was the only kind soul in there
I booked my room on booking.com and was still charged $15 more when I arrived. I booked my hotel on a Wednesday just to arrive at 3pm and be told my room isn't ready. We waited an hour and a half for our room which when we got to our room it had warms in the toilet. It was the only hotel that offered nothing. No pool, the bar was closed, ice and vending machines don't work and they don't even offer breakfast. I would never recommend this place to no one

The location
The room was not clean !! There was blood on the curtains , sheets and pillowcases and the man and lady at the front desk became rude when my husband brought it to their attention. The next lady that came on the over night shift was very nice and she wound up bringing us fresh sheets and I gave her a tip.
