Horrible Experience

Ice machine broken, breakfast was a joke, most of the food wasn't there, staff wasn't available or seen, desk clerk said no one bought any Coffee because no one bought any, bathroom door broken, shampoo and conditioner. It was horrible. Everything you advertised you didn't provide

Would stay here again

Lots of choices and seating for breakfast. Discount at Cattlemen restaurant next door. Staff added recliner for disabled spouse when inquired.

A convenient location, but the breakfast was not real great.

The bed was not the most comfortable one and I discovered a tiny roach or some similar insect in my sheets when I woke up.

The property just looked old and like it could be kept up better.

Better than exoected--but no fresh fruit for breakfast.

We did not ask fir a "handicapped" room, but we loved the higher toilet seat and grab bars.

Strange that the shower curtain in the barrier-free shower stopped about 18 inches from the floor. Allowed for easy access for people--and easy egress for water. This made for a slippery bathroom floor. :-(

The air conditioning worked and we appreciated that.

My daughter and her friends enjoyed the pool. I enjoyed the coffee and waffles.

The beds were fulls not queens. There was an ecosystem on the wall outside of the sliding glass window.

Website said that toiletries were included but only soap & makeup remover was was in the restroom… if we had known that we would have brought lotion- shampoo-conditioner.

if I had a chance I will not stay here, couldn’t safe milk for my kids 😆

Works wonderfully for an overnight trip

Very pet friendly hotel. Hotel staff was very nice during check in. Room was a decent size, with a very good tv selection on the remote (even let’s you go to YouTube!). We had to catch up on laundry when we were there and the washers and dryers very in very good condition. There was a pool, we didn’t have time to go in, but looked clean!

Lights in most the hotel are very dim, almost eerie looking. Especially in the halfways. Continental breakfast was very small without many options. (vending machine had a great selection compared 😅)

Did not stay at Redding because of extreme weather warnings.

N/A: Charged for room never stayed in on March 8,2023 because of storm- Confirmation: 3665829180 PIN: 0129 We wanted to stay in front of California storm as we headed back up to the Northwest from Southern California. With the dire weather warning we phoned the Redding La Quinta and some one told us we had to contact Booking.com. We phoned Booking. com and the agent said they e mailed you about our circumstances and for you to consider the request From Booking .com: You requested to cancel reservation 3665829180. The emial went on to say "Although there's a charge associated with this cancellation, we asked La Quinta by Wyndham Redding to make an exception. We haven't received a response from them yet. " We kept driving very late and stayed at a LaQuinta in Medford on March 8,2023. We just dropped in - no email confirmation. Attached are pasted segments from our Visa: Medford: Mar 8- 9, 2023- where we stayed: March 9, 2023 LA QUINTA INN & SUITES CENTRA -$118.68 Redding: Redding March 8-9 -where we did not stop due to severe weather warnings: Mar 16, 2023 LA QUINTA MOTOR INNS 53 0-22 -$133.00

Would like this issue resolved and we are requesting a refund for the Redding no show because of extreme weather.

it was a bit run down. my room was close to I-5 and there was freeway noise all night.

We were in the back of the motel on the third floor. My wife has asthma, it makes it hard for her to walk any distance from the car.

The staff was great. The quality of room was terrible no fridge or microwave. WANTED 2 queen beds got 2 doubles. Carpets were bad in room.
