Location is great. The layout of the hotel is really messed up. Way too many stairs. Our first room had a bad odor and the TV didn't work. But the front desk help Emily was fantastic and went above and beyond to get us another room to our liking. The breakfast was okay. Not great but acceptable. The pool and hot tub were great.
Wish the rooms were a little fresher and larger. The lay out I'd awful. Too many stairs everywhere. Difficult to find parking at times.

Decent room and nice view of downtown. Staff gave us great recommendations for dinner both nights. Good breakfast 🥞 in the morning.
Had to drive a half mile from the office to the room. Streets are closed and one way only around the entire downtown area. Had issues both nights with the magnetic keys not working.

Breakfast was satisfactory and kitchen was always being cleaned after people ate and left. I loved the Sauna.
The fan in the room was loud and kept going off and on throughout the night. I'm a light sleeper so kept hearing it.

It was nice to be downtown, walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars.
Nice staff!
Odd layout of hotel...it's older so has been added on. It's not a bad thing, just different.

We arrived by snowmobile & your location worked well with our travel plans. We have stayed here before so it was familiar. We will probably be back in the future.
There was a faint smell of marijuana in the hallways😬

The location was nice.
The room was dirty the shell around the heater/AC unit was broken and had black mold inside. Drains didnt drain properly, sink would fill and take take approximately 2min to fully drain after sink was shut off. There was black stuff coming from the tub faucet. There was stains on matress ,skirt, protective cover, curtians.

From the outside of the hotel it looked nice, updated, newer but then you go through the doors …and discover they built a new shell around and old motel. I’ve never seen this done before! The rooms were attempted to be updated but they missed the mark. It was very disappointing for the crazy price we paid.

centrally located.
dated property. but lower in price so it equals out.

Room was clean and the hotel was unique
Very loud guests well after quiet hours made sleeping difficult. Breakfast was hit or miss on quality

Hotel location was good. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Hotel was clean but outdated. Carpet could use replacing. Thermostat in the room did not work well and the room stayed hot

Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds comfortable.
Location was excellent.
Not friendly for older guests or handicapped. Stairs were very narrow and the landing had a slope that was dangerous after stepping off steps. Small step up in to room. Breakfast cold and ran out. Only 3 channels on TV

Great location in town, within walking distance to everything and university. the rooms at +500 level are the best! we’ve stayed multiple times since on lower level and they’re still the motel rooms. the upper level rooms is more like a hotel, large and airy, comfortable and great view of the bridge! staff very nice and bed comfortable. one of the few locations that allow dogs.
parking is limited and very challenging, especially if you have a small trailer, bike rake or other thing on the hitch of your car. you need to remove this separately. still expensive for what you get.

The staff was friendly, but that is all I can say that is good about this place.
It is a filthy and outdated hotel, with a new facade slapped on front to make it look new. They literally build a new wall in front of an old brick motor lodge, and want $200/night! To make things worse, they try to sneak in a $1.50 carge for having a rusty and old safe in the room. This is just unbelievable! Since when is a hotel safe a luxury that costs extra! The fact that they did this, along with trying to sneak it on to the bill, is enough for me to absolutely despise this place. Stay at the Hampton Inn, it is around the same price, it is new, and it is so much nicer.

security, location
the carpet in the room was fraying at the bathroom

limited parking- only one space which was too tight for car

Room was spacious and clean. The view was nice.
All the stairs were narrow and since we were on the top floor there were lots to climb up and down (no elevator). The key cards kept deactivating (4 times).. I got stucked outside for 15 minutes one time. Sauna didn't work (my grandson was excited to use it for his first time). Parking was awful.

Breakfast was good and Donna was fabulous! She was friendly and always running around keeping food supplied and helping the guests! She was the highlight of our stay.
The bathroom was tiny and the room itself not spacious at all and the air conditioner did not work properly.
