Location was beautiful
Their restaurant was not very good

We arrived super late, along with many others. The girl at the front desk was so nice and quick to get through the line of people. We stayed in a king suite, which was so spacious. I was completely impressed with the air conditioning temperature and how comfortable the bed and linens were.
The 3rd floor elevator button (to go down) wasn't working, so we had to play the up and down game in the only elevator working. Things could have been dusted, and bottles of soap, full, would have been nice. (They filled the bottles the next day)

10 dollars a night to park when you are paying over 200 for the room. Not disclosed. Rediculous, Had to have my key reset 6 times in 5 days. Many others were experiencing similar problems. I’d come in each day from playing in a golf tournament and couldn’t get into my room. Two times in one night. I had the manager come to my room the first night to get the air conditioning up and running. The air unit made loud and creaking noises. I had my own fan thank God which drowned it out. Only two elevators and one was out of order. I heard it had been for a while. The condition of the building is deteriorating . It is not a good value for the rates. I would not recommend anyone stay there .

I have stayed in lots of Holiday Inns and always felt good about booking them because they are always good. Very disappointed in this one. It was obvious that it had not been cleaned well. Someone had used the bathroom and it was still in the toilet. There were peanuts in the floor. And only a comforter on the bed. No top sheet.
Did not feel it had been cleaned

Sadly, our trip to Durango will always be associated with the theft of a laptop. A police report was made and hotel management was made aware. I would ask that all parties continue to be vigilant and contact us should in the machine show up--regardless of how unlikely that is!

Location was good and the staff was very pet friendly and people friendly. Great dog park behind hotel.
Parking charge. Noise from other rooms. Was charged the one time pet fee each day.

The room was clean and cozy with the fire place. The bed was very soft and comfortable! We will definitly stay here again as long as the construction is complete!
Every thing was nice the room could have used more chairs to relax in. Also, the mantel on the fireplace was leaking sticky stuff. It ruined a pair of my pants. Construction was going on eve on Saturday and Sunday!

Location
They charged for parking and for the Continental breakfast. Those two things are usually included with the price of the hotel. They charged enough for the stay that those 2 things should be included.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, attentive staff, beautiful pool and hot tub, nice proximity to polar express
The only slight negative was the tv in our room did not work, as it had been left on the incorrect input and we did not have the right remote to change it. The staff did try to address it, which we appreciated.

The room was comfortable
This place is way way overpriced. Upon arrival we find out that even at the high price you have to also pay $10 a day to park in their parking lot.
Breakfast was not free. Quite the racket.

It’s in a nice area
I paid extra to have a room with a jacuzzi and when I get there they told me the jacuzzi wasn’t working. Ok that’s fine but instead of reimbursing me the extra money I paid for that room , the front desk lady only took of the parking fee which was $10.

VERY nice and accommodating staff!! Also the room was super clean, especially for a pet friendly hotel. The onsite restaurant Burger Theory was pretty good for lunch (but in Durango there are many better burgers) and the bartender is great at night, but I wouldn't go again for breakfast. Overall I would only stay again if I needed somewhere pet friendly.
I encountered a lot of small issues with the property: key cards not working constantly, broken mini fridge, dryer ate some coins, hot tub was out of order, wrong hours posted for the restaurant etc. But the staff made sure to go above and beyond and I still had a comfortable stay. It was overpriced for how outdated everything was but like I said the staff made it a positive experience. Also: The property is close to downtown but you CANNOT walk there due to a short strip of highway and almost no sidewalks. Uber is non existent here so i wouldn't book this hotel unless you've got a car.

Everything except the water pressure for the shower was good.
The water pressure. And being charged $31.40 without explanation and no one I've talked to has been able to tell me what the charge is for.

The place was clean. I thought it was funny how you had to keep a card in the holder on the wall to keep the lights on. It had water in the lobby with orange or lemon slices in it. The restaurant attached was called Burger Theory and their food was pretty good. The lobby staff are very kind and helpful. I'd stay again.
There was 1 of 2 elevators that was out of order. That seems simple but it made it inconvenient because of how long I took to call the elevator.

Very clean and close to main street.
Parking is $10/night. It should be included instead of an extra cost.

Amazing location, very quiet and spacious room.
They charged parking fee, which we did not expect. Free breakfast would have been better for the price.

Hotel was as expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was in good shape & clean. Just a couple of minutes from Downtown Durango
These poor people working there. There was only 3 people working the whole hotel when I was there. Check-in took multiple hours. There was only 1 person working in housekeeping staff the day I checked in. This meant they were behind schedule and the manager was off helping clean the rooms when I arrived at 4PM. This also left only 1 person at the check in counter. This person told me they had only been working at the hotel for a week and was understandably a bit lost. The restaurant was closed because the only cook had called out that day. The management for this property really needs to hire more people and take care of them better if they can't keep staff working.

Very clean. Comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms. Good restaurant in the building (Burger Theory). Indoor pool and hot tub. Staff was very nice as well.
There was a parking fee but not a huge deal.

Restaurant was great !
CJ, the manager, is very personable and a wealth of information about the community. The burgers are very good, too.

Hazel was an amazing host. Give her a raise.
My vehicle key fell thru the elevator door opening and fell somewhere.. no maintenance person was available to help me find my key or provide any option to retrieve it. I had to pay 225 dollars to get a key to get my vehicle on the road. I had my 2 grandkids with me. And after that all I was unfairly charged another day of reservations when I left before my extended checkout time.

I was quoted a price of $139 but was charged $167, including a $10 parking fee. Not happy!
