Great staff but the lack of an elevator should be told upfront. They were unable give us a first floor room. Had I known

Good location

No elevator which is not included in description. We had big suitcases as we had traveling for a week plus. Lugging them up and then down stairs as a senior with arthritis issues was not fun.

Would not stay again or recommend.

The room was dirty and smelled. Carpet was wet. Coffee maker didn’t work.

Perfect for what I needed to do. Goal was to have good Ironman race and have a smooth hotel stay.

Breakfast was good; a lot of options and very convenient. Given I was doing the Ironman Lake Placid on Sunday my breakfast was key. So that worked out very well. Also, all the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Only downside to trip was that I wasted $1,200 on an extra room that I didn't end up using. It wasn't Best Western's fault but I wish I pursued other options so that I could have at least saved some of that $1,200.

Location.

Room 111. Located nearby a noisy ensemble of loud devices owned by Best Western...It is quite disturbing and the quality of my sleep was impacted. Would not recommend Best Western to a colleague or friends.

Hotel was very clean, employees very nice. Wish I could have gotten the room I reserved/paid for.

Breakfast was so-so. Not being a big breakfast person, I was not too disappointed. What they did have out could have been better stocked. They were out of a couple of the sandwiches, and the pancakes. Busy weekend I guess.

Did not get the room I requested. Was supposed to get a pull out couch but got a roll away bed instead. They did not have the room I reserved.

they had an issue with the heat so the room that I booked was not available Craig is physically handicapped and had to go up 2 fights of stairs no elevator. There were 2 adults and three children from 14 to 5 they gave us a room with one bed and a pull out couch. They did give us cots but it was a small room very crowded. we fortunately had relatives in the area so spent only a small time in the room. we left a day early because of the inconvenience of these accommodations.

Apparently we were put in a disabled person room. The light switches were too low and are two and a half year old was able to turn them on and off. The door handles were the kinds that she was able to open and close. And worst of all she was able to open the door to the hallway; even though she couldn't get out she could open it if she needed to and throw things out there or talk to people or whatever. I'm not sure why we were given that room because we are not disabled.

the pool is great for kids and the location is great. the staff were very nice!

the beds had a sheet and a blanket it was in the 30s and when we turned the heat on it smelled so bad. the corners of the bathroom were not as clean as the could have been. $700+ for two night is way too much.

I thought the bedding and towels were not good quality and I had to call for service as had lady bugs in my room on ceiling. Had to ask staff and they Vacuumed off ceiling
