The breakfast was good. The front desk staff and breakfast staff were friendly.
The second floor had an odd smell immediately greeting you right off the elevator. Our bathroom left a little to be desired. Was clean, just seemed a little sparse. No extra toilet paper.

It was just ok no better or no worse than other hotels with Continental breakfast.

We were tired & the woman at check in started out very helpful. Then she didn't know they had a guest laundry. Then an issue with the AC/heat & by the time I had to go downstairs for the 3rd time because of no internet, she was hiding in the office & not apologetic at all.
There was no fan in the bathroom so there was mold in the shower. The elevator lurched & we feared getting stuck. We spoke to other guests at breakfast who asked us about internet. They were not told that the issue was not even going to be addressed until the next week. I had to ASK. The molding in the closet was unattached & the carpet was filthy.

I reserved room 201 at your hotel. My name is Kariann Lubin.
The room was not what I expected, receptionist wasn't welcoming and kept rushing to the back room to be on her phone, I wasn't informed the pool was closed and we ended up going somewhere else because even my kids felt unwelcome there. The receptionist refused to take my Walmart Card OR cash for the $25 incident insurance. I am from a different state and this trip wasn't easy to plan as my grandmother is in hispice waiting to die and we might not make it back in time to see her before she dies. Also, this is the first time I've seen my son in 7 months and I could only afford one night......so this ONE NIGHT was super important. We felt unwanted, unwelcome and didn't even use the toilet. We simply left. Who do I talk to about a refund? We went to Holiday Inn and had zero issues. ..the receptionist acted like we were welcome, wanted and safe. She made my boys feel safe and laughed with them! Me and my kids have been through hell trying to start over after I got rid of their abusive father. They didnt need your receptionists bad attitude. Holiday Inn happily accepted my card and cash. Who can I talk to about a refund??

It was clean, the King bed was very comfortable, big walk in shower (without the tub) and sink inside the bathroom instead of outside. Had shelves under the sink which made it nice for clothes and things. I also liked that where breakfast was served it was separated from the tables we sat at. No running into people while getting food. Food was the usual breakfast, but kept restocked very quickly and tasted good. The rooms are “inside” rooms, not the kind with doors to outside. We picked the King room for it is a little bigger and asked that there be two chairs inside the room. The contacted us back and said they would accommodate us. And they did! We did not want to eat out every meal and wanted NOT to sit on the bed to eat inside the room, so appreciated the two chairs.
It was strange there wasn’t a fan in the bathroom so mirror was quite steamed over after a shower. The one thing that was challenging for me was the chemicals used to clean and sanitize were very overpowering in their smell. I didn’t know if I could stay there or not, it was so strong. We ran the A/C for a while, then just ran the fan while visiting my brother in rehab. Came back and then tolerable and gone by next day. If you like clean/sanitized, this is for you, but if smells bother you, this may not be for you. Same product used on breakfast tables. We put a do not disturb sign on door for our 3 days so they wouldn’t come in and clean. No smell issues after first day for me!

The breakfast was as expected for continental. The lobby was clean.
The room was small and dirty. There was mold in the shower and rust on the metal handrails. The floor was not vacuumed before we arrived, there were crumbs all over. Most of the electrical outlets were so worn down that our plugs would not stay inserted long enough to charge our electronics. The continental breakfast was not restocked when items ran out. There was no staff waiting in the lobby for check in or check out. Had to wait at the desk for someone to arrive. The overall stay was not worth the price paid.
