It was close to the highway and next to a gas station.
We were told to park at one of the doors on the side of the hotel as it was closer to our room. However, the entry there was a split level, so we either had to walk upstairs or downstairs upon entering the building. My husband, who is disabled, struggled to navigate the stairs, especially with his suitcase. The breakfast was scheduled until 9 a.m. Upon arriving to the breakfast room at 8:30, we discovered most of the food was already gone and they were out of silverware anyway. The hotel was definitely not worth the price!

convenient location, descent rooms. not far from most restaurants. beds were comfortable.
constant smell of marijuana thru the halls....when brought up to the staff, they did nothing except spray some air freshener down the hallways.

Comfortable. Nice grassy areas for our dog. Staff were nice
Location. On super busy street. Was thinking it was closer to MSU than it was.

Staff were great at addressing issues with the room
Room had flies in it (staff had to spend time killing them), the smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag (courtesy of the previous guest and missed by housekeeping), the hallways were well worn

Road construction nearby. Beyond their control.

Location was good
The rooms are so loud. Doors slamming alll the time. Walls very thin and can hear everything. First floor smells horribly of pot.

I liked the refrigerator in the room.
Staff insinuating that I could be a thief after charging my credit card, but before giving me a key to my room. Rug on room floor appeared dirty and likely not cleaned for years. Bathroom had no fan and was too small. Worst breakfast ever and the only edible thing was the muffin. Not worth the cost. I am a senior citizen, not trouble. Got woken up at 5:00 a.m. to EMT's knocking on the door and looking for someone that called 911. Overall - I recommend looking elsewhere.

The location is convenient, the breakfast was nothing to boast about. What’s with those eggs? Were they eggs? And the tiny glasses for juice and milk?
Standing at a empty counter waiting for someone to show up for check in was a bad thing. Hope the guy and his dog had a nice walk. I purchased beverages from the fridge in the lobby, the same drinks for four nights. Different prices each time, why not put a price on the fridge so the front desk occupant and the customer can both read it.

Clean room, comfort bed, friendly staff.
Not the nicest area, a block away (behind the Applebee’s) a lot of homeless camps.

Adequate - nothing special
Very poor internet. Staff was not helpful with recommendations. Our room required us to go down 6 steps and then to get to the lobby, had to go up those 6 + 10 more. Our room felt like we were in the basement. The window looked out onto a wall, with the parking lot at eye level. We were also charged a $50 upfront fee (cleaning or damage) that was to be returned upon checkout. That was no disclosed in advance. 24 hours later - there has been no credit on my account. Price very high considering the age and service at this hotel.

Nice facilities, friendly staff.
A group of boys were noisily roaming the halls, trying to open the doors of the rooms. It was after 9:00 pm.

Bed was comfortable.
Overall, the hotel is just old and dingy and is in desperate need of some upgrades or remodeling. However, what was most disturbing was that the first room we checked in had dirty sheets on the bed but was made to look as if the beds had been changed. We were moved to another room without any problem which was cleaner, and the beds were comfortable. The lights in the bathroom shower area are very dark and need new bulbs. Breakfast was adequate but not restocked well of frequently needed items like milk and half and half for coffee. The tables weren’t cleaned for guests even though they weren’t busy at all. For what we paid we were not pleased at all. We can usually trust Confort Inns to be a safe choice but not this time.

It was a good place to stay. Breakfast was decent. Room was huge. Most staff was friendly. Pool and hot tub were good.
Eggs weren't very good at breakfast, and the worker in breakfast room didn't even respond when we said good morning.

Nothing
The price was ridiculous, especially for what we got. The roll-a-way bed wouldn't even fit in the room, the place was dirty, and the shower was so small you barely fit in it. Guess if you have to stay in a town with something going on they can rip you off!

Easy early checking and friendly staff
The bathroom in my room was not clean and it also had previous trash from the guest before me.

The bed was uncomfortable. But that is it!

Upon check in when asked which room I wanted to stay in I was then informed the pool was not operational. Traveling with 2 kids, ages 4 & 7, that was not a acceptable so we had to find somewhere else to go.
