Needs to have a big update before we would stay again.

The ladies on the front desk, were the only good part of our stay

The motel smelt awful and was very dirty and run down. The beds were hideous, broken and old. There was no facilities in the room for eating, no kettle, no cups, glasses, plates, cutlery or microwave. Very poor. The feel was they had long term residents and that they got them all out and put travellers in for the nascar weekend.

Location was great

The room wasn't very clean, floors were filthy considering there wasn't carpet in the room I was expecting the floor to be clean, tub has the beginning of rust spots, the AC was very loud and funny smell, bed was not comfortable and other customers seemed to long term were very loud in the halls ( which I understand they can't control control) I don't know the area very well abd was told afterwards it's not the most desirable l. I've used Home Towne before for personal reasons, and UT was great, so I didn't hesitate to book this one but ended up being very disappointed.

It was old. No trash can in room, had go to desk for remote. Had to wait 2 hours to check in. Rooms need to be cleaned.

Superb

There was a dead bug on the counter. It was huge. Neither of the burners worked so all the cooking I did had to be in the microwave. The floor where the beds were hadn't fully been swept.. Overall it was a good room. Not perfect but good enough since I was out all day.

Good enough...

Nice staff. I was really worried based on the other reviews but it wasn't as bad as I expected. Obviously not the nicest hotel I've ever been in, but it was fine for a couple nights.

The floor in our room could have been cleaner, but the bed was clean so that's the most important. Compared to the other hotels around, it was one of the cheapest, but still pretty expensive considering what you get.

great location for where I needed to be close to.

the room smelled musty, there were cigarette burns in the comforter and I had a non smoking room. the door didn’t look like it was fully closed when it was locked.

Worst experience ever

We couldn’t stay because the smell of the room was so bad.

Everything the service was nonexistent! The service at the front desk was minimal and there was a foul odor in the entire hotel and in the guest room!

A facility in dire need of rehab. Dirty Stopped up drains. Questionable people loitering inside lobby and outside the building. Apparently the building provides permanent housing for some clients because school busses dropped off kids at the building. Just not what we were expecting. Actually left a day early and slept in my truck for the third night. Just felt safer that way!

Don't stay here.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Great Wolf Lodge. There were plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. The best thing I can say about our room was that the shower worked and had plenty of hot water and the bedspreads looked newer. That's all of the high points.

Where do I begin? First of all, the hallways were filthy. There was debris, crumbs, and trash in the hall which was not vacuumed during our time there. The stairwells smelled of urine all the time unless someone sprayed it with lemon air freshener, which happened daily. People sat outside smoking constantly. While using the pool with my child, a couple rolled and smoked a joint next to me. There is NOTHING in the kitchenette. No dishes, pots, pans, utensils, cups - nada. There is a fridge, sink, stovetop, and sink. On our second day, the electricity stopped working in the outlet in the kitchenette. Of the five lights in the main living area, one of them worked. There was one lightbulb in the bathroom light fixture and several empty spots. We found long hairs on the nightstand when we first arrived. There were stains on the walls. The bathroom had someone else's water bottle cap in the corner behind the door. The floor was laminate and not carpet, but it still didn't feel clean. Apparently, the Olympic stomping team or a college marching band rented the room above us and felt the need to practice between the hours of 5 AM and midnight. We were woken multiple times over our three night stay by something heavy crashing overhead. I can't say that it is definitely due to staying in this hotel, but my husband and I both came down with serious chest infections after this vacation. Since this hotel was so gross, it's easy to believe it's where we got sick. You will definitely save money here. You will also walk away with stories about your worst hotel room stay ever, too.
