A bulldozer is too good for this hovel

Only that it was outside of Corpus Christi and a short easy drive

Where do I start? This place should be condemned. It's a hovel. Old, run-down, and management that don't care that the facility is pure filth. The photos on booking.com are not representative of the motel today .. maybe 30 years ago. My photos will speak for themselves but the curtains crumbled in my hand, the furniture was broken with no attempt to even hide the fact. Stained furniture, flies in the room and crawlies on the bed. I left in tears and stayed at the Double-tree Hilton next door FOR LESS

Run down property

There are two things I like snot this location and that is the main pool and the location.

The rooms are very run down and are in desperate need of remodeling. The small pool is always full of debris. We used to love staying here but like I mentioned it is very run down. Our sink was clogged, there was a hole in the wall that looks like it was repaired with paper and plaster. The pool wooden tables need to be replaced, the wood has started to deteriorate.

me gusto la ubicacion, no pudimos ingresar un poco mas temprano por el cargo extra, asiq ue fuimos a caminar alrrededor de el hotel.

las puertas que dan al acceso a la playa en mal estado, el olor en las habitaciones, aun desde la entrada en el loby, el sanitario del loby muy sucio, cerrado al publico, tienes que pedir permiso para usarlo, al final de cuentas no utilizamos el hotel y preferimos cambiarnos a otro hotel. los balcones muy descuidados

The poolside suite doors were both in significant disrepair and unsafe. We moved to an inside room.

The staff was very helpful in moving us to another room when the one we had reserved was unacceptable

Y’all need to upgrade the room, the music was Ridiculous loud, I don’t think y’all do cleaning, when I opened the bed sheets there was a long black hair. The pillows smelled and the price for the room and location not worth it

Unfortunately, would not recommend.

The location, the pool, and friendly for pets. I loved how I was able to get a new room because the first one was just not going to cut it for me. Overall, if they can just clean up more & make sure the rooms electronics work, this would’ve been way better!! And replace the beds with softer mattresses & better pillows.

How dirty the hotel was. The first room they gave us was dusty, hairy, broken shower head, roaches, & smelly. Housekeeping did NOT do their job well in that room. The new room was a huge help BUT none of the electronics worked - no TV, microwave, hair dryer, 2 lamps were out, SLOW WiFi that kept dropping. The breakfast was awful… coffee tasted like sewage water & eggs were very gritty. Careful if you’re old or have a bad back, the beds are TERRIBLE. The pillows were flabby & not well laundered. The cover for the bed smelled like it was laundered well from the previous person that had their pet there.

Place was no better than a cheap $80 motel. Not worth the money.

Location 2 min walk to beach.

No AC on top floor, place was dirty, room smelled moldy and they tried to cover with cleaning agents.

Pretty much what you would expect of older hotel on beach

Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel was clean. Pretty good variety for breakfast. Wear and tear was visible around hotel grounds, but nothing that wouldn't be expect from an older and directly on the beach.

No clean wash clothes available on 2nd night. Pool was green. Broken lounge chairs laying all around pool area. TV/internet went out on 3rd day and was still not back on by time we checked out.

Dirty and uncomfortable

Bathroom was tiny and flooded every time someone took a shower. Beds were uncomfortable. Room was not clean. Cancelled 2 of my 4 nights stay and found better accommodations. Beer cans all over pool area. Broken chairs and a dirty pool

This place is perfect. Rooms are very spacious, walking distance to The Lexington and shops. Steps away from the beach.

I like that our room was on the first floor with an ocean view. My husband and I really enjoyed our suit which also had a private patio with access to the beach.

I didn’t like that being literally steps away from the beach sand, that the patio didn’t have any kind of water source to wash off the sand from feet. Our suit also didn’t have a broom to sweep away all the sand brought into the room for the 3 days we stayed. That was a little annoying but other then that. we enjoyed our stay.

Location, friendly staff, comfortable bed except the pillows.

False advertisement. The rooms don’t match the look online. Hotel is pretty beat up on the inside but looks like they are remodeling some. Also, has a stuffy smell and I saw roaches in the dining area so I didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast.

After checking in, i saw already that the room was in a devestated shape. I detected that the cooler was stick t9gether with ducktape while my husband saw a cockroach in the bathroom. As i sat on the bed, i saw the roof falling apart and the other side were some cables coming out of the walls and it goes further. The lamps were rosty, the curtains nasty. So i claimed it at the frontdesk (my guess that i was the manager). After complaining, he knew exactly over what my complain is. He checked for a "new" one. So he checked in 3-4 rooms and shoed me another one. The roof had just some cracks but it seems dry. So we switched the room but guess what......i wanted to check if i can open the window and the frame was porous. We didn't feel well at all that night. It was that typical room in the horror movies. All i can say that a property like this can't take guests and let them pay for that. In Europe they would get closed cause of the rules of sanitation
