Pieni edullinen perhehotelli, iso huone jossa hyvä varustus.
Huone oli epäsiisti, lattialla edellisten asukkaiden roskia, kuolleita hyönteisiä. Vanhan talon tuoksu voimakas. Wifi ajoittain pätkivä/hidas. Aamupala vaatimaton, muroja ja banaani.

I was bitten by bedbugs within an hour of checkin. i saw at least one scurrying across the bed. I was disbelieved by the front desk staff before i showed him but he moved me to a different room. Avoid.

the smell in the room, some insects, poor breakfast

I selected the tri room which not only featured 3 double beds as expected but also a very comfortable sofa as an unexpected bonus. I tend to sleep on a sofa due to issues including sleep apnea The room was huge with a nice sized dorm fridge with a freezer (yeah for ice packs!) and had a microwave. A table with 2 pretty chairs was available for a threesome of UNO using a bed as a 3 seat. There was also a very good restaurant right across the parking lot that had really good pie!
Speaking of food, the hotel did feature a continental breakfast including donuts, mini muffins and fruit including my favorite which is bananas.
One last thing to mention was that the room came with a actual key not a key card! Talk about nostalgia!
Desk clerk was reached by dialing zero on the lobby phone when checking in but someone was present when checking out. Only other minor detail was the use of those air fresheners that didn’t quite cover a slightly musty smell

It was located right off Route 66. It was also next to a steakhouse and a gas station. The owner also provided a light continental breakfast (no meat), which puts him above other places during Covid.
I wish the noise insulation was a little better.

Did not eat any of the breakfast but the coffee was great.
Rooms opening to outdoors with chairs for sitting outside. Just my preference.

Staff wasn’t friendly or welcoming but the worst was the smell! I’ve never ever been to a place that smell SO NASTY! My nose is the last one to smell something but the smell in this entire building was really gross and the smell in my room was different from the building one but just as nasty! The bathroom floor was sticky that if you stood too long, you got stuck and the bed had stains all over from all kinds of things. Finally, sitting on the floor was more comfortable than on those chairs. Absolutely horrible place and I highly recommend you don’t stay there!
