We moved to another room and left item in room.. We alerted front desk we had left item. Of course it was not returned.

Everything was great. No breakfast but the coffee and hot chocolate was nice. The s’mores at night was great!
Maybe some things were stained or outdated in the room like the lamp shade and chairs.

The view is always lovely no matter the weather.
The beds have changed since our previous visit . They were so hard and very uncomfortable. Our stay included breakfast, some confusion over vouchers, but the Staff was very nice & quick to fix the issue. The selection available was very limited by menu only . No substitutes or mixing unless you wished to pay for the extras , ie: side $5 & up. We dined twice in our 5 day stay. Not impressed with the selection or options. So we had breakfast away from the Resort. We inquired about the spa and found there wasn’t one insight , but again the staff was very good and suggested a few nice Spas to call in the area. Again the staff were great our entire stay & the facility was clean.

Very pleasant folks work here and are always accommodating. The Resort was out of power when we arrived, but we were still able to check in. Nice place!

Location was excellent, the breakfast was just ok and would not have been worth the money if there was not a breakfast voucher. The dinner, however, was amazing!
We had a pretty long power outage due to storm which is completely understandable, but the wifi was spotty at best. Also, I left a white woman's North Face jacket on the white bedding by accident when I left, they said it had not been turned in and I would really like my jacket returned.

Relaxed atmosphere. Very comfortable.
Needs some facilities upgrading. It is an older facility and it shows. The facility is clean but just shows wear.

The staff was very friendly and helpful in finding a place for me to eat. The room was clean and the towels were thick and soft. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. The view of the lake and the mountains is beautiful.
The hotel is very outdated. The carpet, although clean and stain free, looks very 1990's. A fresh and happy color for the carpet and paint for the walls and doors would go a long way. But the hotel and room were very clean and that, ultimately, is my main priority.

Decor, location, comfort
So many things need attention. Dirty rooms, stains on carpet in rooms and on rugs in lobby.
3.5
Great location. Staff was great. Loved having a fire going in the lobby and the fire pit at night for smores. Having a keurig in the room was wonderful.
A little pricey as the whole hotel needs a refresh. For the amount we spent a new updated room and bathroom was expected. The breakfast was average and by the time we came down for it there was very little left.

The views from the back of the main bldg are fantastic. The lobby is nice & expansive
Updates were made but there is still the feeling of an old property that was hastily renovated.

the food service, some mornings breakfast was served in the restaurant and others it was served in the lobby. we walked to the restaurant a couple of times and found it closed when it was supposed to be open. Staff shortages I was told.

Beautiful property, The location was very good, in the beautiful smokey mountains,
close to town. Our son loved splash and spent hours there. Swimming pool was lovely. Smores at the bonfire was so good, we made new friends.
The outside of the building needs to be cleaned. Our balcony had spiderwebs.

Pleasant staff, great bed, 8:30pm s'mores, and beautiful Lakeview.
Rooms were outdated for a $200/night rate. The area has minimal access to restaurants and food options.
4.0
Breakfast was very good and hot.
Pet friendly rooms smell like pets, maybe have the carpet cleaned.
