They have a full kitchen with an oven. A full size refrigerator and everything that you need appliance wise.
They didn’t have not one dish one the room. I didn’t see a plate, coffee cup, a bowl, and a glass. There wasn’t any pots and pans to make a meal. The receptionist didn’t go over of those details. I had to go to an event so I found out all of this later. On the paper in the room it still didn’t state anything about being able go get pots and pans for desk.

Did not get to stay at the hotel.
I arrived early in morning and the main door to the hotel was locked. They would not let me in even though I booked a room there. They told me they didn't have me on record. They have not refunded me and I had to find another place to stay.

The outside was pretty and well kept.
There were bed bugs. The hallways smelled horrible. Everything was outdated. The beds were hard. The front desk staff was very short tempered. There was no hotel service with my hotel stay. The a/c didn't blow cold

The location was excellent.
-The strong smoky smell of the room
- no trashcan was provided
- the toilet did not flush properly
- the bathroom was not cleaned. There were dried sprays of someone’s spit/toothpaste above the sink/on the mirror, hair on the towels
- it was NOT clear on the booking site that the lobby would be locked and unmanned after a certain time (even when I provided my ETA). I was lucky to catch the clerk as he was leaving.

the room was comfortable.
I booked 1 nights stay and wanted to try and book a second night due to my travel plans changing. An employee came knocking on my door at about 9 am to inform me that i would just have to change rooms, i was fine with that. Then she came back 30 mins later and said “actually we are overbooked there are no rooms but if you need to check out late it is $10 every hour past 11” I planned to check out at 1:30 so I had time to make other arrangements so suddenly. My hubby went downstairs at 1200 to ask if he can buy quarters to wash laundry before we go, management then told him he is trespassing and needs to leave by 1245 or else the police will be contacted. This was extremely confusing being as an employee came to our door and told us we would just have to pay and fee and knew we planned to check out at 1:30. Also, the people staying above us were loudly stomping and hitting things loudly all night starting at about 2 am and didnt stop until 9 am. And when we called to ask the front desk to notify the other guests that they are keeping us up from being so loud, they literally said “theres nothing i can do”. EXTENDED STAY AMERICAs customer service is TRASH every time i have stayed with them so save yourself the stress of mindgames and childish threats and stay literally anywhere else. Candlewood is my #1 pick, i highly recommend them.

Breakfast? Nobody told me there was breakfast! I guess the best thing I can say about my experience there is that the room was clean. When that's the only good thing you can say about a hotel experience, you know that's not good.
Customer service by the staff was horrible. They are the reason I will never stay at any location of this hotel chain ever again. Second day I couldn't even access the internet because somehow they had mixed things up and put another person's name on my room. After hours spent trying to get this fixed so I could connect, I went back to the front desk. Their solution was to give me the name AND the email address of the person whose name had been put on my room! How's that for protecting your personal info? I asked how we could get the room back in my name. They told me to come back in the morning and set up a new reservation and that would fix it. The next morning I went back as instructed only to find out they had already given my room to someone else and stated they were full - no other rooms available. Actually they had four rooms available. So they lied to me. This happened like 15 minutes before check out time. So I scrambled to get all my stuff out of the room and into my car. Now where Was I going to go? I was new to the city, in the process of relocating there and prepared to stay there two full weeks. Now I will never use them again.

If I could rate the hotel a ZERO I WOULD.
WOKE UP ON AN AUTOMATIC WEAPON. We arrived at around 11, in the middle of a horrible storm. Had just landed at the airport and needed a place to rest before traveling home. The rooms weren’t much, but we laid down and noticed the mattress was uncomfortable; however, as tired as we were we went to sleep. Around an hour after we fell asleep, there was a loud boom. Right after that a knock on the door. Of course we both woke up with this, and through the door someone said “the person there before you left something underneath the mattress”. We were furious to have been interrupted in sleeping, especially at 1:30 in the morning for something such as this. The person kept on, so we called the front desk. At this point, the front desk manager also came to the front door and was having a conversation with the man knocking on the door, saying “they are probably scared.” Who wouldn’t be, with a stranger knocking on the door asking us to just slide out what was left. No normal person does this. At this point, we lift up the mattress and panic when we find a LOADED automatic rifle in the middle, on which we had been laying. We were incredibly afraid for our lives at this point, as what kind of person leaves this between the mattress while traveling, and then wakes up the next guest wanting it back?! So we ended up having to call the police, and be safely escorted out of the building and they took the weapon. Turns out, as my husband and I were both puzzled as to how the bolt lock was opened, that the front desk manager had literally made the creep who was knocking on our door a KEY TO BREAK IN THE ROOM AND GET HIS WEAPON. Had we not had the metal latch secured, I would have woken up to a stranger standing over me at 1:30 am looking for his automatic weapon. I can’t emphasize enough how scary this was. The hotel should do more to protect the guests. And upon our complaining about this, we were offered two free nights anywhere in the country. As if we would EVER stay again!

It was clean and bed was comfortable, liked having a whole refrigerator. Pet friendly too.
It needs updated and bathroom needs fixed up. Vending machines should be in lobby or hallways, instead of out of the way near laundry room.
