The rooms were clean and beautiful. Plenty of towels. The room smelled clean..
Check out time is 11, at 8 housekeeping was knocking on the door wondering if we were checked out. It actually woke us up so I am a little disappointed in that

Our room was very quiet, despite a large motocross event, across the street, and a lot of late arriving guests. This was essential to us, since we were there to run a race, and needed good rest.
The elevator smelled so strongly of crab, that we honestly could not use it.
There is no true lobby, so I had to walk through all the gamblers, in my pajamas, in order to ask for a simple plastic spoon.
I have stayed in hotels extensively through my traveling career. This is the one and only place that I have ever stayed where I was turned down flat on a request for a late check out. No exceptions, no accommodations, nothing. We were in bed by 10, and we were up and out, to go run a half marathon, by 6am. It wasn't like we were hoping to sleep off a hard night of partying. Since we were finishing our race by 10:30-11 in the morning, we hoped to have a place to rinse off, before jumping in the car for a long ride home. I explained this to the desk agent, but could not find any sympathy. Luckily, the rest of our group stayed next door, where staff were happy to allow an extra hour, AND to allow guests from another hotel to borrow towels and clean up.

Beautiful updated room. Nice recliner chair for my mom to sleep in
Front door parking is scarce, even temporarily parking to drop off my elderly mother.

food is good mostly
NO card tables for blackjack or 3 card poker. I was expecting to be able to play there

The staff is friendly and the accommodations are great. It is a great "all in one spot " place to stay in Deadwood. I would definitely stay here again.
A little further to walk to Main street businesses. We were sad the buffet wasn't daily in the restaurant but the food was good.

Good location just as u enter town.
Property a bit dated but clean.

Location was good during motorcycle rally, since we are a mile out of town,so quieter. Thank goddess there is a trolley that stops at next hotel.
The elevator smelled like dead fish, hallways need new carpeting. The walls are paper thin. The front desk said we had to face the street because we booked on internet, which meant it was loud all night from traffic, especially motorcycles

The room was clean. I was delighted by the size of the room. The hotel had great parking available!
The hotel is at the end of the 'strip' for Deadwood. It was not really an issue as things are still walkable.
