I loved how it was well away from the usual day to day city life where sometimes you just get stressed and exhausted. It was a good place to recharge and get back on track. Everyone that works there was above and beyond.
Just the price of things, but it didn't stop me from enjoying it. Maybe if it was just a bit cheaper, I'll come back. I

Beautiful view
The large suite was more like a mobile home. It was a LOT of money for what you got. No room to put 2 bags or for 2 people to sit. Not my version of a cottage suite. Breakfast was not available. Kitchenware didn’t include a plate!

Location, cleanness.
I was driving many hours to get there almost midnight and the first thing that I want to do before going to sleep is to take a shower, but unfortunately I found that the shower water was or too hot and too cold, but never warm or option to regulate it, I write them a letter to been very careful in details as well as repairing their blinds to prevent day light entering to the room especially in the mornings if someone wants to sleep late, be detail-oriented with Such a beautiful and privileged property to be in a beautiful location would be much better for a good stay of the guests,

Directly on the beach; well appointed cabins; lovely grounds; on-site market

The room is clean and the morning atmosphere at the Cottage is very calm and peaceful.
We booked 2 nights at Juan de Fuca Cottage for king bed water view. Got room key number 7. The price was really insanely pricey around $420/night but we thought we would have a great view and a nice stay. However, it turned out to be a terrible experience. The room we booked didn't feel any privacy at all. The room was attached to another room on the side, and there was another tenant staying in the same cottage above us.
The room was situated next to the entrance gravel road, so every time a car passed by at night, we heard the noise, making it extremely hard to sleep. Moreover, the bed was in such bad condition with a spring coil mattress that shook easily which turn so it impossible for me to sleep.
As for anyone thinking they paid for a water view, please don't be fooled. Juan de Fuca faces north, so they don't offer any spectacular sunsets or sunrises, contrary to what some might expect.
To add to our disappointment, no housekeeper came by to change the trash or provide any room service during our two-night stay unless we specifically requested it.
Overall, we were extremely dissatisfied with the experience, especially considering the exorbitant price we paid.

Love love the location. The room was superb. The host was so polite and answered all my "tourist" questions.
Homemade cookies when we arrived, and a little market that was so cute, and we were able to get an item we needed.
Across the street from dunganess spit area was perfect at sunset.
The only thing that I wish I had, was either another fan or AC, it was a touch warm in the room with no breeze.

The cottages were just beautiful with personal touches, a jetted tub and very comfortable beds! Our entire family of 4 slept for 10 hours after a long day of traveling! The cottages have views of the mountains and the ocean!
I can’t really think of anything we didn’t like, The cottages were a little more pricey than we wanted to spend, but they were well worth it!

The cottages were nice. The one we stayed in had 3 sections and the first night the people next door were a bit noisy. After that it was quiet. We had a king bed and the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The tv had a DVD player and they had movies to watch and that was nice. Good locations for going around to look at lavender fields.
It is not really on the beach. The beach is across the street and down a not too steep path. At high tide the beach is not accessible at all. At low tide we did walk around. There is a porch for the part of the cottage we stayed in to sit on but it was so sunny we really could not use it very much.

Just seemed like a lot of money for one night. Like $600 for one night is a lot.

The setting of this property is absolutely gorgeous. Literally on the strait of Juan de Fuca, in view of the Dungeness Spit, and a gorgeous view of the Olympic mountains looking the opposite direction. Appreciated that there was an electric car charger available on property, and the self-serve "market" area was well-stocked and really nice to have available.
The size of the room and the decor and finishes in the bathroom were much lower quality than we had expected for the price we were paying.

The view, the room was wonderful.
Walls were a bit on the thin side, room next to me decided to play in the field next to my cottage till 12 am, so that was a bit annoying, but not the fault of, or issue with the cottages or staff, just inconsiderate of the renters next door.
