Exceptional

Exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The furniture was first class, the WiFi was very fast, and there were at least 22(!) electrical outlets in the room.

This is a no-frills motel, very clean, newly remodeled bathroom, comfortable bed.

Overlooking Seneca Lake, the view is spectacular.

Pleasant

Closeness to our campground.

Water pressure very poor , no electric when we got back from dinner, called office and they acted like they didn't know , thank God it was back on in a good time

location was lovely

The bed had a beetle in it and there was no management on site. In fact, we were the only travelers at the facility. We left and got a room at the Harbor View hotel in town.

Very clean, convenient and with nice view.

Excellent location (three-minute drive from Watkins Glen) and very clean. Room was spotless and every detail looked after. We really liked staying here and strongly recommend it.

The view was great. Room was relatively clean. Shower was nice and big. Bed was comfy enough.

Room was a bit musty smelling when we first got there. Cable didn't work. The motel's website said they provided snacks in the rooms to "hold you over" until you went for a meal. There was nothing. Hot water took forever in the shower.

Clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay with great view of the Seneca lake.

Very clean room and bathroom. Close location to Watkins Glen and wineries. Very nice staff and quick check-in and check-out process. Some reviewers mentioned that shower is too small, but I think it is good size. Room has a microwave and mini fridge. Beds are comfy. There is a fire pit and propane grill on premise if anyone wants to use them. And view of the lake from hotel is gorgeous.

I would suggest replacing all towels and blankets on the bed, Most of the towels were ripped and blankets on the bed had holes in them. Please invest in re-paving the entrance, maybe in something more concrete than asphalt, as well as driveway lights. Also I believe description mentions coffee and snacks, but I did not find any, well, unless in-room coffeemaker is it.

Well ......

The view was beautiful! Sheets smelled clean. The bathroom was nice, I read in reviews that the showers were small, mine wasn't. (#8), lady checking us in was nice.

The room (#8) had carpet in it and the whole room smelled like a musty basement. The beds feel like there the old kind of spring mattresses not comfortable at all, and the neighbors were loud, broke a chair and put it over by my door, like I did it. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Nice place beside the lake

Location was good. Shower too small. Bed was comfortable. Easy check in and check out. Has a nice place for an outdoor fire. Good lake view.

Small shower. really needed an ADA accessible room but we managed.

A short stay in a very clean room!

Great location, very clean room! we were looking for one night stay on our road trip and I was surprised that we got a great price and a very clean room with a very convenient check in as we arrived late.

we got a great room so nothing to not like. great value for money

Great location and pretty view of the lake. Beds were comfortable, good size room. Dee was very nice. Check in and out were easy.

Pillows were very flat and the shower though nicely tiled could have been a little cleaner. But everything else was very clean and comfortable

Comfortable stay in a no frills spacious room.

The room was clean and spacious. No complaints. Looked like it had been recently remodeled. Very clean.

No one in the office to check us in. Had to phone to get a check in code for the door. The driveway is steep and in terrible condition. The property could use some grooming.

Excellent place to stay

This motel was right out of the 50’s but in a good way. Not fancy but very clean and everything we needed. We so enjoyed sitting outside our room with a glass of wine looking at our gorgeous view. Highly recommend.

Extremely clean! Very nice staff. Attentive without being intrusive. Comfy beds. Good location for what we wanted to do. Good basic, no frills place.

Overhead light in room too harsh. Tone it down some or place a lamp on a table besides the bedside one. Fridge was too loud. Shower was too small.

I had an enjoyable stay at Gorgeous View motel, and would consider staying there again.

The location across from the lake really was gorgeous. The room was decent with a comfortable bed. Even though no breakfast was provided, the coffee and coffee-maker was a nice feature. Overall, a good basic room and a good value.

The bathroom was ok, but the shower was a bit small.

Really great spot

The staff at Gorgeous View are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were great and the view really is gorgeous. Will be coming back.

View was nice although the power lines were in the way

Shower pressure was very very weak. Had to run shower for 5 minutes for any warm water.
