I didnt like the beds and they were horrible. They keep sliding of the metal box. Bed box need to be changed.

Ocean front and on boardwalk
The whole building smell like weed all day an nite

Balcony was nice. And a bathtub in the bedroom was an awesome touch that we didn’t know we needed.
The bathroom was not up to par. The fan in the bathroom did not work; the faucet dripped; the walls showed indications of water-logged.

The oceanfront view with beautiful. We enjoyed the jacuzzi in our private room. Staff was kind. The hotel met our request for a room on a higher level, which they did not have to do. They also allowed us to check in and get our parking pass early and called us when our room was set. They had that ready for us early too which was very nice. We enjoyed leaving our balcony door open to listen to the ocean, however, someone in another room was clearly smoking weed and that was a less than pleasant smell. The tv was a nice good size and flat screen. The hotel is nicely located within walking distance of many shops, restaurants and even mini golf. That was very nice as traffic in the area is crazy! There’s also a little restaurant connected to the hotel. We didn’t try it but I thought that was cool. Overall it was a much needed relaxing stay!
Parking! The parking was a little slim and I don’t just mean in number. The main lot was definitely not designed for larger vehicles, or with a place to unload/check in. The second lot you had to weave through construction to park and we had to back out of the lot completely because spaces were so tight. The third lot is across the street behind another business and you had to get out and move cones each time you wanted in and out. This task might not have been as bad if traffic wasn’t always so heavy and again, we didn’t have to back out. The bed. Well, the frame you can tell is aged and the mattress is an old spring mattress with no box spring. It sets directly on the frame. So, it definitely left you wanting. I think the only other thing I’d really recommend besides updating the aforementioned, would be a free breakfast.

Where Capes is located
Everytime you leave after 9pm you have to wait until employee let you in..It's a inconvenience...

- The Small restaurant
the building needs improvements.

Excellent
The metal base on the beds had no skid pads under the matress so the mattress slid around alot.

Loved that we could park out front.
Staff was very friendly and offered suggestions for trolley and free car rides.
Shower could have been cleaner ( grout and shower head)

Beds were way to hard

Staff is always friendly. We have stayed at the Capes many, many years. Pillows were super flat. Had to ask for extra. Otherwise we enjoy the Capes❤️

There was literally a rat running around the lobby and my sisters seen ants in the room.

location, location, location
we visited during off season and parking was limited, I’m not sure where you would even park during peak season. also the few parking spaces that they do have were very tight for a regular sized pickup truck

Liked the fact that there was a restaurant in hotel

We had an excellent two nights stay at the Capes Hotel (as always:)! There was an issue with our room as we arrived, so they immediately gave us an upgrade to make up for it, which was very much appreciated. The staff was great - Laurie and Vicky (if I remember correctly) in particular, were very professional, helpful and sweet.
We very much enjoyed the ocean view from the room (breathtaking sunrise & dolphins!), and we had so much fun at the pool! The pool water was warm, absolutely perfect for a winter night. So don’t miss the pool at The Capes! :)

The room was just a it was described..
It wasn't long enough

The room was the cleanest ever. We bring our own cleaning supplies because we get the whirlpool room. I used a magic eraser and nothing came off the tub....wonderful. The staff is amazing and the only thing I can say even remotely negative is that the rooms need a bit updating. Either way, we'll definitely be back
The beds and bathroom could use an update.

the location there really wasn’t much parking nor easy access to hotel

This is absolutely the best staff! Friendly and warm, they did not hesitate to ask if we needed anything.
It is an older property and well used but kept up well overall

it was just perfect. we chose it for the jacuzzi tub in the room. but we’re very pleased with everything they offered and the staff was super friendly

look if you’re expecting a modern hotel this is not the hotel for you. However if you want a clean hotel with amazing staff who remember you by name and ask you how your day was treating you like family for a good price this is a great place to stay. The hotel definitely needs a face lift but I would stay again.
Hotel is definitely outdated but does have a kinda weird charm to it. Bathroom was tiny

N/A
No electricity, no cable, no A/C. We emailed after we left and noone even responded. Wasnt given any discount, refund or price break for staying due to the circumstances after we had to keep our reservation even after they cancelled Neptune and wouldnt allow us to cancel or change dates.
