The bed was very comfortable.
The tvs were broken, the shower was broken, the view was of an empty lot, the bar closes at weird times, the food was not good.

las habitaciones son cómodas. Eramos 6 personas y la habitación tenia un salon con Sofa cama comodo y con una puerta corredera que separa el salon de la habitación con lo cual es como tener dos habitaciones .

Everything was fine. I like the setup and the clerks that were working the front desk. Housekeeping always took care of our requests.
We had a family reunion but I don’t feel the criteria of the contract was fully understood, so there were charges made to account that set the reunion team backwards. I don’t think we will use this hotel again for hosting purposes.

Customer service is excellent, always friendly and accommodating.
The mini kitchen is always a plus, being able to store, heat and eat food off of real dishes with silverware is great!
Shake Bar serving coffee in the am, and food throughout the day and evening is a plus when room service is not an option.
Location, location, location. The Pulse boarders an area with many homeless on the street. Planning walking routes before leaving the hotel became our daily norm, and returning before dark if we were going to walk back weighed on our minds.

Sehr bequeme Betten.
Sehr freundlicher Check-In.
Wir würden wieder buchen.

Our room was a fantastic size with great facilities. I was really impressed by the bed and the bathroom in particular! The staff at the hotel were brilliant and they have daily activities at the hotel like live music and mimosas (they put up a little schedule each week around the hotel)
The location felt a little unsafe but it's downtown San Diego so it comes with the territory.

Our family had asked for two rooms close together and the hotel put our rooms right next door to each other which made us very happy! Rooms were very clean and very spacious! Location was excellent! Walking distance to Balboa Park, Gaslamp District, Little Italy, and more. Beds were super comfortable.
Our adult son slept on the pullout couch. He didn't find it to be very comfortable but when we told the front desk, three thick comforters were sent up to our room. Using the comforters for extra padding made it more comfortable for him. Great service from the front desk! Our granddaughter used the pullout couch in the other room and because she is much smaller, it was very comfortable for her.

The location is excellent if you are planning to visit San Diego’s landmarks.
On arrival I was treated and welcomed in a good way, however, on the check out the receptionist was a bit rude and refused to give me one hour late check out. Also, they did offer me to extend with additional fees.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. Andi who works at the activity room was great! The kids enjoyed playing games and on Wednesday it is slime making day! The kids and parents all enjoyed this activity. The pool was chilly but the hot tub was nice and they have changerooms and showers at the pool facility. We ordered food for pick up from the hotel restaurant and ate in our room. All the food we ordered was delicious. We had a lovely stay however it did seem a bit fancy for our family with small kids (that is why we didn't sit in and eat at the hotel restaurant).
I'm not sure if all of the rooms have the same strange layout or if it was just ours because we were at a corner room, but everything in the living area room is squished in odd spots. Why a dishwasher when there is not a full kitchen ?
The bathroom showers are terrible and leak and drip everywhere. This location is ok. We stayed closer to the water and Little Italy earlier in the week and much preferred the safe feeling of that area.

The hotel was really clean and in a good location for walking to other areas. Staff were really friendly and helpful
The bar area lacked atmosphere

I liked the closeness to other attractions although nothing of value was nearby. The bathroom and shower was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly.
I felt like I really couldn’t control the cooling system. I even called in for maintenance and I noticed a difference that one night and felt warm the rest of my stay. If I wanted to be hot, I would’ve stayed outside. I also paid for a city view just to look at an empty construction lot. Overall not pleased

The hotel staff was great. Whatever we needed they were very prompt in getting it to us. Omg the bed was so comfortable. The room was nice. Our room was on the same floor as everything absolutely love that!
I like the decor, just a shower in it! How it has a door that separates the bedroom from the living room. It’s 2 ways to get in the bathroom. The room was Beautiful
I didn’t like that the comforter or the pillow cases were clean. So look closely before laying in the bed. Once we told them they did correct it! I still recommend this hotel.

The parking garage is a little strange. There’s a narrow a winding pathway you have to climb to reach the 11th floor, and it is tight and disorienting to climb.

It was a clean, well furnished suite with a beautiful view of downtown San Diego. The bed was very comfortable and all the amenities were outstanding. Would highly recommend staying here.

The location of the Pulse is close to the trolley and the bus lines and the Gaslamp District. We walked and used public transportation (to the zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town, taking a ferry to Coronado Landing), so no rental car was needed or having to pay for parking. Our breakfast was delicious—scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, sourdough toast and Starbucks coffee. We enjoyed a Happy Hour and had wine and a tasty meat eaters flatbread. Our king suite was very spacious, big bathroom, clean, lovely, comfortable, and complete with dishes, silverware, microwave, and fridge and freezer, dishwasher. Plenty of dresser drawers for our stuff. We loved it and plan to return next year!
We wish the restaurant on-site, Shake Bar and Lounge, would have been less expensive.

We had to change room becasue leak in bathroom and management gave us an upgrade room.
There should be menu in the room so we could preorder our meal from the Shake Grill.
