This inn had such a nice atmosphere.
The room was big, very very clean. Lots of little thoughtful touches: a full size soap dispenser with pump, coffee machine with creamer, different teas, a couple of water bottles, lots of places to put and hang your things, lots of electric outlets.
We enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of the waterfall.
Right across the bridge there's a nice tavern that serves cocktails and excellent brick oven pizza.
I think it's now my favourite inn in the Amherst area.

Hidden gem in a small town away from noise. Deborah is a wonderful, accommodating Innkeeper. And sweet Gracie is such an added bonus!

The room we stayed was beautiful. you can see somebody had put a lot of thought into decorating and furnishing the room. The whole house had a warm and beautiful feel to it. Our welcoming host was very friendly and helpful. We can recommend the Old Mill wholeheartedly. Thank you.
Nothing to complain.

Set in a beautiful calm location next to a river. Newly renovated spacious stylish and clean room. Very good beer they sell on site and delicious baked goods. Deb was especially nice and helpful and made our stay so enjoyable. Recommend!

Well, the room was very nice and spacious, and well-appointed. The extra linen and blanket, etc., were very nice & comfy. Falls were nice to look at, though it was too cold to enjoy outdoors.
River Walk suite - Falls too loud for light sleepers. All the stairs everywhere - did not anticipate hauling luggage up and down as required. "Private" back entrance useless as it was blocked by a truck the whole time we were there.

I was fascinated by the way they incorporated the old building into a modern hotel. The structure is exposed where possible and parts of old machinery cleverly used as décor. The units are well furnished and comfortable. Right off the end of the front deck is a beautiful water fall and bridge. The staff is very friendly had eager to help, and the café has great food and coffee. The Wi-Fi worked well and the TV had cable and Hulu.
I can't think of any complaints. Our teenagers didn't even have anything negative to say!

We loved the old world feel to the exterior of the property and the surrounding areas but when we walked into our room we were met with beautiful modern convinces and luxury!

Loved staying at this beautifully renovated old mill! Staff were the friendliest, most helpful staff we have ever encountered. Thank you Gail, Deb & Marsha! Breakfast in the cafe was special, delicious and reasonably priced. Have stayed in many places in the area - this is by far the best ever!
Could hear the people talking in the next room, but it didn't keep us awake. Would prefer brighter lighting for reading in bed.
Wished the Cafe was open eves for drinks - maybe next time we come.

Such a lovely inn! The renovations are exceptional. It’s a perfect mix of industrial and old fashioned charm. The room was lovely. It felt like we were staying at a friends house. The waterfall outside the window was charming and provided a natural white noise for sleeping. The staff was very friendly, too. We loved everything. Hope to go back one day soon. Thank you!

Nicely renovated inn. The room was updated and clean. The grounds were nice. Breakfast was good.
The bed was super hard. The room was small. Breakfast should be included. Not much in area to do. Nothing at inn to do. Never met inn keepers.

Really friendly staff, great rooms with comfortable beds and lovely hot shower. We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but would happily have stayed longer. Enjoyed sitting in the lounge area chatting to other guests. Idea location to start the Mohawk Trail. Breakfast is purchased separately in a cafe within the building where they offer a good range of home cooked food. They also recycle! First place we saw that did in the US during our stay.
That we could only stay one night!

We honestly just loved this place. Our room was so clean (no chemicals, just great organic products) and so comfortable. Very light and airy with high ceilings, plenty of space and great lighting. Loved looking out at the trees. The tub was wonderful- first time in a long time to use the tub in an inn! Breakfast was so delicious with a hot flavorful latte and the most wonderful egg sandwich with a homemade biscuit that melted in your mouth. The breakfast cakes were delicious and the staff made the meal even more enjoyable. We felt happy from our greeting upon our arrival throughout our stay. You should definitely stay here.
Nothing.

The site is vey attractive and the waterfall provided a soothing background noise at night. Our room was large with a good view. Food was prepared on site and was very tasty, though on the high calorie side.
The Inn is called a B and B, but breakfast was not included in the price. That may be okay, but it should be mentioned on the website. We had a large room with a king size bed clearly designed for two people, but there was only one chair. Finally, there is virtually nothing to do in Hatfield itself.

This is a former mill that has just recently been completely renovated in a style befitting the Inn's past. The Inn only offers a few rooms, which is why it was ok that sound carried rather well in the old building. The rooms were small but lovingly decorated. The bathroom was spacious and our room had a small walk-in closet that was appreciated given that we traveled with too much luggage. The Inn's main common room offered comfy seating and a small coffee shop that sold awesome pastries and some yummy breakfast options. The staff was super friendly and provided a familial atmosphere.

The location was convenient - everything we had planned was less than a half hour drive from the inn. Room was nicely appointed and a decent size for our one-night stay.
A little noisy from the hallway, but so few rooms it's not really an issue other than around check-in time.
