Passable
The location is wonderful - right by Jackson Lake with the mountains in the background. Can’t be beat.
We visited in September 2021 and due to staff shortages they only had one food facility open and that could only seat about 10 tables at a time. We queued up half an hour in advance for dinner behind about 30 people and were told there’d be an hour wait. We ended up eating tuna sandwiches in the room. Not worth the high price for being in the National Park given lack of wifi or TV and very rustic nature of rooms (mouse included), in addition to the lack of food options. Stay outside instead. Its a quick drive into the park from nearby towns.

Rustic cabins in a great location! Really enjoyed our stay.....definitely would recommend!
Perfect location. The restaurant had a great menu with very good food and service was great! The cabins were quaint and although a bit more rustic than I realized it was a great experience.
The heating does not circulate in the room thus one side was hot the other cold. Would have liked to know there was no blow dryer!

Exceptional
I don't know where to start with "what I liked", wow...there were several things: *The Staff treated everyone like Family... *They were accommodating if we needed anything.. *We were prepared for expensive meal prices, but were pleasantly surprised the meals were very reasonable... *The Cabin (#434 6/5 thru 6/10) was our "Home". It was clean, fully stocked with Linens and Toiletries, and very comfortable. I wanted to purchase one of the pillows because with my neck injury/post-surgery, I never woke up with a headache or neck pain (sadly, they were unable to let me purchase one) while sleeping on them... *The location of Colter Bay could not have provided anything more scenic, unless you were actually standing on the Grand Teton Mountains! I had never seen anything like it! It was absolutely gorgeous!!.. *It had a Laundrymat, a General Store, a Gas Station/Convenience Store, a Food Court as well as a Restaurant (Reservation preferred and get your name on the list EARLY!!).. *Back to the Cabin - it had been originally built in 1922, at the original location of Jackson Inn, and was relocated to the current location and is all Original except for the addition of the Bathroom accomodations. No AC, but open the windows to let that fresh mountain air filter in (but currently there have been Air Quality alerts from the various fires in neighboring State, so opening windows might not be such a good idea currently). Even with the Cabins nestled in the middle of Spruce, we never encountered a single bug. The Cabin was clean. Everything about our Stay at Colter Bay Lodge was above and beyond!! I highly recommend it!!
There was nothing, absolutely nothing...that I did not like! The staff was very accommodating if there was anything that we needed!! They treated us like Family, and everyone seemed to have a smile on their face or something positive to say!! I miss "our Family", and we'll be back one day!!

Awesome!
Felt a little like going back in time staying at these great little cabins, but so much fun and beautiful, breathtaking location on Jackson Lake.
Service at the restaurant not always up to standards but probably due to Covid-19 staff shortage.
