Location
Grumpy, and unpleasant staff.
Dirty carpet in room.
No coffee in room.

The view was fantastic and our room was a great size.
Couldn’t find the ice machine was the only issue we had.

It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back in the future.
The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice to have a TV in the lobby so you can watch any big events with friends. It looks like you had a beautiful bar at one time. It would be great if you put it in again

The location is great , easy to walk everywhere in the village.
Breakfast was very basic , not very good facilities for a hotel of its size.

Great location in Greenport village. The shower was great, beds comfortable.
But overpriced, and the continental breakfast was uninspired, given we were paying upwards of $600 for each room. (My breakfast at the Residence Inn was better.) One room was barely decorated, no pictures on the wall, no comfortable chairs. At over $600 a night I expect a bit more.
7.0
Location and cleanliness. View from our balcony.
Some kind of overhead lighting rather than all those lamps. Extra plug ins. More comfortable pillows and mattress. More of a designated breakfast area, more seating.

I like the location is right in the center of town and there’s a pool. Accommodations are very nice. Thoughtfully curated, I loved the leather chair with ottoman, which made it like Chase, I liked that there was a desk in the room so I could work, it was very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was lovely. The accommodations were great. I have nothing bad to say about the accommodations.
They have a sister hotel at the Sound View 5 min away where you can use their private beach and their pool, which has more people than this location if you want to meet new people. You just have to arrive and tell them that you’re at this hotel so that they don’t tow your car.
They don’t tell you that you have to pay $30 for parking, they don’t disclose to you at all until you get there. With all due respect you’re paying $500 for one night and you can include parking seriously.
Then they tell you, you can park at the municipal parking lot but they don’t even give you good instructions on how to get there. You would think that they would have a print out of exactly how to arrive there and they would just give it to you like every other hotel.
So I ended up parking on some side street and then the next day it rained, and they didn’t even have an umbrella for me to use to get to my car which I shouldn’t have needed because I should’ve been able to park in the parking lot.
Every hotel should have an umbrella and then just let us know that you’re going to charge us if we don’t return it, at least have them available. I paid $500 for one night that’s ridiculous.
The locations and the accommodations were great, there are just a few things that I just think were ridiculous. I feel like Parking should be free on a first come first serve basis, and if there is no more room in the lot, then you park at the municipal parking lot. But charging $30 it’s just ridiculous.

Loved location and room.
Registration people were fine, but not a lot of personality and were not very knowledgeable about the area. They made a few suggestions, but clearly not concierge-like staff. Also, continental breakfast could have been better. The muffins were hard. 8

Everything was wonderful! We paid for a partial view room and we were a bit skeptical as to what "partial" might mean but we had a lovely view of the harbor. We did have to pay extra for parking in the hotel lot but the staff was awesome in letting us stay there after we checked out to go roam Front Street one more time. Breakfast was perfect for us...the coffee was delicious and the continental spread was more than adequate for what we wanted. The location was perfect. I love the decor of the hotel...the room was modern rustic but very cozy. We loved it!
I would definitely stay there again! The staff was awesome!
We loved it all! I wish I would have known more about the "sister hotel" and access to it's private beach.
I also didn't know about Hay Beach until after we were leaving...I am not sure how we missed that info. We spent our days on the harbor side and we did go over to Shelter Island to the beach which was well worth it.

location of the property is its best advantage. In the center, near restaurants and most hotspots.
The view was advertised as a harbor view. It was a ground-floor room with a view of the garden fence and a bar; the harbor was somewhere there. The room has an "older" feeling than in the photos with an old fashion air-conditioning that wakes you up when is on. We couldn't rest during the night from the air-conditioning and the music coming from the nearby bar.

Overall additional fees were costly making the night almost 100 dollars more which I thought was a lot for one night mid week despite the location

Staff was very helpful
My stay was quite miserable. First experience was getting to my room, in which, had no heat in the winter, and elevator did not work as well. In addition, the gym is is in poor condition. Equipment was not well thought out, and the only treadmill was not working

Central location near everything. Clean, well appointed room.
Charged in FULL upon booking one month in advance, added "Optional" charge for their charity, which was removed upon request. A charge for parking in the Summer? I will never go there in Summer. $100 charge for incidentals, again removed after two days. I get the feeling that money is their main concern.
