It was quiet and clean. The room was perfect, and it felt like a home away from home.

Room is large yet quaint

room was comfortable and cozy with a gas fireplace in the room
Room door didn't easily latch, bathroom layout is quite atypical but is just fine as long as you're there with a spouse and not with a friend.

A quaint Vermont Inn and located between Bromley and Stratton mountains. The owners are friendly and welcoming. They have an excellent lounge full of sofas, comfy chairs and a fire place. The bar is open on the weekends but you can BYO when the bar is not open.

The waffles at breakfast.
There is free tea/coffee in the lounge area
The toilet were really small and really low and broken/uneven. Every time I sat on it, I felt it move. The drainage is terrible (they are aware of it - it’s written in the pamphlet in the room).
There was no heating in the room. The bed is not very comfortable.
The pamphlet was long with mostly don’ts - don’t do this and don’t do that. It felt like I was just getting orders and not being a host/on a holiday.
The whole place needs renovations.

It's such a wonderful, cozy place, where hospitality is at its best.
That we didn't stay longer.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a nice-sized refrigerator in the room and a nice TV with multiple channels. The lounge area was comfortable and cozy. The dining area and the deck had a great view of Bromley Mountain. There was a pleasant atmosphere at the inn and it was an enjoyable experience.
The breakfast was mostly carbs (bagels, toast, muffins, oatmeal, cereal and waffles). The only non-carb choices were apples, very ripe bananas, and hard-boiled eggs. There was coffee but no cream or half and half; if you don't like black coffee, the only thing they had was milk or almond milk. There was only one chair in the room and, it was a wooden kitchen table chair (no table in the room). There was only one side beside the beds; it was small and was crowded when shared by both beds. There was no way to control the heat in the room (no thermostat or individual heating/air unit. It was rather hot in the rooms and, we couldn't change that. There were no tissues provided in the rooms.

Bed was comfortable; main lounge was available and expansive.
The “breakfast” was extremely limited, nothing special or healthy. Some unwashed fruit offered. Staff tried to be cheerful.

This is a great Inn. Dan and Austin, Cole the dog, Skye and Erin are running a very friendly establishment. Dan and Austin have owned it a year and they have some very good ideas about how to develop the Inn further. Skye offered lots of good ideas of things to do locally and we enjoyed the walks he suggested. The Inn is also ideally located between Bromley and Stratton and will be ideal for skiers.
Nothing. It was great.

Nothing. was a wonderful experiment

I would like a little more variety for the breakfast. As I do not like sweets for breakfast, I only ate the Bagels- would have preferred fresh fruit and yogurt. Waffles were excellent but with syrup, once again too sweet for me.
It was cold in our room (heat not on), so I asked for a blanket and received one immediately. Also turned on wall heater for 2 nights.

Great, comfortable time with my sons. Lots of games, pool table, atmosphere. Excellent breakfast, good TVs and wonderful views off the deck. Super-friendly and helpful staff. We had such a good time.
Nothing bad to say. The place is not pristine, but that's fine by me.

It was a great location, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and the view was great. It's more like a hostel, which isn't bad at all, because staff wasn't around. Though, there's a phone number to call in emergencies. The hot tub was very nice. The lounge was very comfortable. Pet friendly is awesome too when thinking about future visits.
It could have been better if the bar was open, I imagine that is because of restrictions or the season. The breakfast was very nice, muffins, waffles, bread and cereal but...it could have been a little more extensive.

Although it is an older building the room was updated with nice flooring, ceiling, and bath facilities. It wasn’t too far from Manchester, VT. The room was very clean and the AC was blasting. The setting itself is very tranquil and easy to locate.
I expected a little more from the breakfast, not much for protein or fresh fruit. Also although most guests were polite and did not disturb the quiet hours, if you are a light sleeper you might wake up to a door slam or heavy footed person.

Large bonus room
I miss the full breakfast, which was a main reason for picking this hotel. Staff were hard to find at times, bar area was unattended

Excellent hotel for a stopover: large and clean rooms, various facilities to amuse yourself with in the evening (hot tub, pool table, huge television screen with Netflix). Caretaker is a very friendly and outgoing guy. Breakfast can be taken on a lovely outdoor terrace.
it has been difficult to contact the hotel over a power converter that we accidentally left in one of the rooms after checking-out. At the moment of writing we still don't know whether that converter has been found or not.
