Very comfortable hotel. It's better than expected. Large room, proper blinds, good noise isolation.
The bar serves lovely cocktails also outside on the patio.
The location is nice. All bars and restaurants are at walking distance. There is plenty of parking space on the property.
Very friendly staff members.
It would have been nice if the hotel had served breakfast as well.
There are a few suggestions: the pillows were quite stiff, maybe add softer ones.
While using the shower, a lot of water enters the rest of the bathroom. There is no proper divider.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly. We appreciated the coffee area where there was also a big table to have your own food at. The bar has some events on that were cool (and didn't go on to late). The room was nicely decorated and spacious.
We had room 101, which is fully accessible so right by the entrance. It is great that that is possible but for us it was a downside because it meant that people passed a lot and the windows went out onto the terrace where people sat and had drinks so we had the curtains closed a lot. Not a big deal but also not great for what the room cost.

Extremely charming decor- off the charts really- delighted me and even thrilled me. From the Victorian-meets slightly steampunk-imaginary 1880s luxe explorer vibe in the gracious cocktail lounge- to the high ceilings, mahogany stairs and marbly bath- I never wanted to leave.
If you want to retire early there’s still some tasteful low level music gently wafting upstairs until 10 pm.. really not a problem. It would be nice if they had some fruit or something to add to the free coffee bar . Maybe another snack or something to sell with the cocktails.

The inn and its rooms are very attractive and have great character. The location was perfect - easy parking, short walk to dinner at the Ithaca Ale House, short walk to breakfast at CollegeTown Bagels, …short walk to so many things! Fantastic coffee to start my day was the cherry on top.

Beautiful room with character, perfect location for us—just a few minutes from everything we wanted to do in Ithaca. There’s a wonderful bar downstairs and when we arrived there was a live jazz combo playing holiday tunes (never fear, live music doesn’t go late enough to disturb guests). Another plus, the shower was great and the bathroom floor was heated.
There wasn’t really anything we disliked. There was a bit of a wait to check in, but it was just that we didn’t realize at first that there was a number to call or text (and the bar waitress I asked didn’t tell us that).

Beautiful building with a cocktail bar, comfortable rooms, and coffee/tea area. Staff was very welcoming. Excellent location.

The real treat for me was the staff. My taxi was very late and one lovely lady on staff even suggested she might drive me to the airport if the cab did not come in the next few minutes. That was lovely. (The cab did show up but her offer was kind).
All the staff were good. The availability of a Jura Coffee machine 24/7 is terrific. The whole feel of the place is understated and classy. The location is superb - close to town and Cornell. The surrounding autumn leaves were superb

great style, big bed, nice coffee room and groovy bar
Room was very noisy with traffic noise. Needs double glazed. Really did detract from the experience. Some of the staff very preoccupied with themselves to the point of being blind to the fact that they had customers in the hotel.

Argos Inn is a gorgeous and cozy way to visit Ithaca. The bed was super comfortable and the room was beautiful well equipped with everything we needed. The guest coffee station made our mornings and the hotel bar was chic and so convenient for our evenings. The heated bathroom floor and perfect shower water pressure was pretty awesome too! The staff was friendly and accommodating- we wanted for nothing.

We liked our room. I liked the bar.
It would be good to have been able to get a breakfast even if just some granola and toast.

The space was so beautiful and like a cozy BNB but with the cleanliness and space of a hotel. The staff were not overly friendly but still very friendly and gave great service. They were very communicative and I felt that they knew we were coming and were prepared for our arrival. Within walking distance of the downtown commons and restaurants and they have a great cocktails and seating to lounge. Overall a great experience!
I think there could be more offerings for breakfast for the amount paid per night

I loved:
- the way the Inn was decorated
- the complementary, good quality coffee
- the patio
- the friendliness of the staff
I would have loved (and would have been willing to pay for) a simple breakfast in the morning. That said, nearby breakfast options in town were good.

beautiful Inn. enjoyed the patio room, loved the bathroom with the heated floor!! beautiful elegant impressive room and Inn. Would love to return one day!
If I had to find anything negative, the parking lot was pretty muddy and not sealed, we didn't want to bring mud into the hotel, but in fairness, it was raining. Our only valid complaint is the pillows were so hard and uncomfortable, felt like i trying to sleep on a rock!! I gave up and used clothing and a puffy jacket for a pillow.

The hotel has some great spaces, and the rooms are really nicely decorated. The sister bar across the parking lot is fantastic with really interesting decor and great cocktails.
The hotel bar was closed due to COVID.

The room was clean and comfortable.
The shower was great!
The coffee and tea in the sun room was a nice touch.
The road traffic was very loud. I would try to stay in the back of the Inn if possible.
We were asked to check out early due to electrical maintenance. We were not compensated for that. We should have been able to check in early, or given a free drink at their bar next door. The room was quite expensive.
