Excellent breakfast and wonderfully decorated B&B. The evening reception with wine made a great place and time to meet new people. Perfect location for visiting the local area including Cumberland Island.
I wished we had booked a downstairs room instead of one upstairs. This is an historic old home and does not have an elevator (nor should it).

Great bed and breakfast that was dog friendly with no additional fee. The owner was very friendly and all the other guests we met were lovely. There were snacks and delicious cookies and coffee and tea and a great Easter themed breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and we sank right in for a deep sleep! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The location was very convenient since it was walking distance to restaurants, shops, museums, and river. Mardge, the owner, was very welcoming and sweet. The house was very clean.
We had the option of having breakfast at the restaurant across the street at any time and which was very good, or we could have it in the house, but the time was a little too late.

We liked how it was nestled among nature & yet was walking distance to restaurants, shops & the ferry. The outside porch sitting areas were plentiful & very relaxing!

I loved the location of the property… it was within walking distance to the waterfront and restaurants. The king room was on the ground floor and spacious, well appointed and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast and staff were perfect.

The property was amazing, so beautiful and full of history and fun! The most impressive part was the owner and staff! They went on it of their way to make sure our trip was perfect!
That our trip ended!

This is a true jem of Georgia hospitality which you will not find very often. When entering the little town of St Marys with its Spanish moss loaded trees not far from the little harbor, on the the right hand side you will reach the old villa with its porches on two levels. What a warm appearance! The owner Mardja welcomed us so friendly in this house which with all its overwhelming interior decor brings you back a hundred years in time. Rooms with all modern amenities are all following a bit some movie themes - ours was Gone with the Wind. But it all still remains authentic keeping the time travel character. In the afternoon, Mardja will serve you some homemade cake and coffee on the porch, dinner can be taken in one of the little restaurants at the harbor (literally 2 minutes walking distance). And finally there is some complimentary red or white wine which you can have on the porch in the quite and peaceful evening atmosphere. The next morning the breakfast is served fully styled on porcelain (we had fruits, homemade cake, freshly pressed orange juice and brewed coffee not to forget the tasty omelette soufflé). If you are to make a trip to Cumberland Island or just for a few days to ‚switch off‘ from a busy town life, do not hesitate to go here.
That we had to leave : (

The hosts were absolutely adorable. They went the extra mile, in so many ways.
Breakfast was delicious, everything was fresh and homemade. EXCELLENT coffee.
The room was big and quiet.
Easy parking.
Excellent restaurants nearby.
The charming house and the garden are picture book-like. The porch was lovely.
Easy and reliable key hand over.
A water boiling kettle in the breakfast room might facilitate the host’s work. But I could obtain hot water for my tea anytime of the day.

a unique Victorian House decorated in that style in an historic town. It was within walking distance of the harbor and several good restaurants.

Wonderful location, charming house, clean rooms and bathrooms, kind owner and guests.
One of our beds was rather uncomfortable, but it was easy to switch to the other one and we had no issues with it.

The location to Cumberland and Jekyl islands is perfect. St. Marys town is walkable and quaint. Lots of restaurants and shops. The view of the river is lovely. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing. Lots of room to sit on the porches and relax. The decor is antiques with a theme for each room. Everyone is friendly.
If you want a modern theme or exercise facilities, this would not be your place. But it's perfect for what they advertise.

The rooms were very comfortable. The refreshments offered were excellent. The location couldn't be beat. The breakfast was amazing, possibly the best pancakes I ever had! They were accommodating to my husband's request for a low carbohydrate breakfast. Our only regret is we only stayed one night. We will be back!
Nothing to not like. Only regret I had only booked one night.

Pleasantly decorated room and parlor area. Breakfast was very good as was the coffee and cookies available in the dining area.
Nothing to add here.

Great location, easy parking, great porches with rocking chairs to relax in.
Wonderful breakfast. Very quiet and peaceful. Very clean.
Only one set of pillows on bed, that were very firm, not to our liking. tub/shower divert valve did not function well.

The homemade breakfast was delicious beyond words and our hosts even got up early to make it for us before we had to leave for our other commitments! The chilled wine to enjoy on the veranda was also very appreciated.
Everything was delightful!

Breakfast was great and afternoon snacks were great
Borrowed the golf cart and came back to use the restroom when we came down to use the golf cart it was gone most of the day by someone else who hadn't checked in yet since it was gone by 11:00 and check in time is 2:00. My husband is disabled and so we couldn't walk around too much. The cart never returned until after 2:00 so it was disappointing and I knew that they were not check in guests
