Right on the lake. Convenient to everything.

All of the options you have here. You can rent a kayak, or a paddle boat, sit outside at night meeting new people, or just relax and read. You are close to parks, restaurants, grocery stores and churches. Perfect place to vacation.
Can't answer this. There is nothing I didn't like.

Location on the lake. Friendly staff.
Accommodations were sub par. Seemed old and dirty in the room. Needs updating and a really good cleaner!

The location was ideal. We went for fishing and the lake and that what we got. Staff was terrific, rooms were comfortable. And the facility was fun! Fishing, lake, volleyball, horse shoes and grilling. We had a great time!

THE BEST FOR US WAS THE CABIN WAS LOCATED ON THE LAKE. THE VIEW WAS PERFECT. GREAT THOUGHT WAS GIVEN TO THE AMMENITIES THAT WERE AVAILABLE FOR A FISHING AND BOATING RESORT. I LOVE THE RUSTIC FEEL OF THE OLD MOTEL ATMOSPHERE. THE STUDIO WE USED WAS THE PERFECT SIZE. FOR MYSELF I GIVE THIS RESORT A 4 STAR OUT OF 5 REVIEW.
I CAN TELL YOU ONLY WHAT I WOULD DO. KEEPING IN MIND THE CABINS ARE OLDER. THE CURTAINS NEED TO BE WASHED OR REPLACED. THERE NEEDS TO BE CAULKING, SOME PAINTING AND SOME WOODWORK REPAIR. THE BATHROOM WALLS NEED TO BE WIPED DOWN AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR.

We stayed at Rainbows End a week. The location is amazing! Our room was 15' from the lake: fabulous views, quiet, & comfortable. The fishing was wonderful - my husband caught 4 nice catfish from the dock the first day! The cabin had everything we needed. Quaint & rustic. The owner, Chuck, was extremely helpful & available. Great value too!
The only negative was the wind (we didn't know that late May is always windy on the lake), which is why we decided against a boat rental. Also, the shower was very small, & must have been on the same water line as the other cabins, resulting in being drenched with FREEZING water when someone in another cabin ran the hot water. Otherwise, great!!!

everything was perfect

I like the rooms that we had. We started with the ponerosa room which was a decent size but was upgraded to a much larger size free of charge due a disabled family room. Carlos was great and very helpful. Will be coming back.
There was nothing I did not like.

we stayed in the Ponderosa and it’s perfect for a family. our kids love the tether ball and volleyball and the fire pits for night were great. the lake view every morning was breathtaking.
only downside is the oven was broken and it was Christmas Day we found out trying to bake a ham.

Views of the lake. Pine cabin was big, good for a family. Had a couple issues there, but still a great time.
We were the only ones there at this time, so no staff except once night before we left, was self check in. Phone call not answered back, had a fast leak in bathroom. Dirty dishes put back in the cabinets, but they charge you 30$/ day to clean?

peace and calmness of the wknd was great. Staff was fabulous..
The living area was a bit cramped.
2.5 / 5.0
Breakfast? Coffee but no creamer in unit.
The mattress lacked adequate support. No paper towels in kitchen or Kleenex in bathroom. It would have been very difficult to cook a meal due to lack of counter space. Needed to be careful moving around in such tight quarters!

Perfect for a quiet weekend in the woods. Literally everything is available to make it easy.

The cabin itself was very nice and clean. It was the perfect size for my family of 3. It’s just a very short walk away from the lake. The staff we came in contact with were all very kind and people friendly.
We didn’t know until later that we could’ve bought firewood from the resort cheaper than at the store. I wish there were more signs of such showing so (if there was we completely missed it). I would still go back!

Apparently my first review didn’t send so hopefully this one works..
My family and I stayed here in the summer our first time and loved it so we decided to come back for fall break. More like a retreat instead of resort so if you’re not down to earth enough to appreciate the basic necessities provided well you might want to find a place with room service. Rainbows end is cozy, clean, staff is friendly and Chuck (the owner) is easily considered a friend by the time you leave. Apple trees on the property were a hit this trip and we brought home plenty. We always enjoy the On-site boat rentals from kayaks to small pontoon boats. We will be back. Thank you Rainbows End Resort.
.. ignore the pic of Bday cake below, accidentally uploaded that one and booking won’t let me edit pics🤷🏼♀️
