We love to get away when we want to swim or just need a night away from home. Its location is convenient and it’s usually a good stay.
The pool was closed and there was no notice before I booked or we would’ve waited to book a room as our main purpose was to go swim.

Nice inside, close to restaurants and events
Confusing to navigate, it’s like a maze. The cleanliness of the rooms wasn’t great.

Staff was friendly, facilities were clean, nice breakfast included and convenient location.
Areas were definitely dated and there was no parking by the time we arrived which was late so created out own parking space.

It was close to my daughters apartment.
Too noisy you can hear people outside talking, cars starting, car alarms going off, and people talking in the next room very thin walls. Beds were old had a big indent on both mattress in the middle of the bed. Mattress need to be replaced.

Nothing
It was a motel not a hotel and the pictures they had was a complete lie , I felt rly unsafe with the location theu gave me it was away from reception in a dark corner, one of the worst places I ever stayed on and I dont recommend anyone to stay there

Room had no windows. I felt like I was in a cave. This hotel needs some serious updating

Location is an ok distance from university.
Not getting room garbage taken and fresh bath towels daily

Location was close enough to Penn state to be convenient
Dirty, uninterested staff, broken door, poorly maintained property

Nothing stands out.
Room- dirty floor
Pool- paint peeling off bricks and being tracked into room
Pillows- inadequate for king size bed, when asked for extra pillows we were told we could only have two.
Bathroom- couldn’t shut off light. Shower handles rusty
Restaurant- food was okay, tables hadn’t been wiped and were sticky from syrup

Breakfast was good.
The room was musty. Things were falling apart. Obviously they had a major structural issue as the second floor walkway was held up with temporary braces. Older place in need of repair.

It was convenient to campus
The usual daily rate for this hotel is around $100, it has a one star rating, but because of graduation they charged $465 per night, totally ridiculous

Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave was convenient. Room was clean. Good location.
Room very small. Bolt lock hard to engage. Poor service in restaurant.

The no smoking room smelled of smoke. Groups of men were smoking and drinking outside the room at our entrance
2 of 4 lights did not work
3.5 / 5.0
The bed was comfortable. Room was available on a busy weekend. Conveniently located to Penn State. Staff was really nice.
For a hotel by Ramada, I expect my door is inside the building, but it points out to the parking lots and courtyard. The window was full size so I had to move furniture just to keep the curtain closed so I could have privacy. Still couldn’t block all the light. There is a wall after the walkway but for the area, it seems more like a motel. Yes, there is a pool and lots of rooms, but everything is pointed outside and there’s only 2 floors. For how much I paid, I really didn’t feel the value - so glad my employer was paying. Bathrooms and bathtub was really small.

convenient to Bryce Jordan Center
Breakfast was one of the main reasons that we booked with Ramada, but breakfast was a shame. Breakfast was supposed to go until 10 o’clock, but by 8:30 to 8:45 there was almost no breakfast food left and it was not being restocked. There were a lot of late breakfast arrivals (arrived after us) that stood around with empty plates waiting for someone to bring out more food, but it never came.
