Hätten uns mehr erwartet

Rezeptionist zuerst hochnäsig und an der Arroganz-Grenze, dann als sie den bei sich bemerkten, sehr kleinlaut ! Als nächstes am Zimmer, stank es penetrant nach Schweiß, wir gingen der Sache auf den Grund, und fanden einen Berg dreckiger und verschwitzter Wäsche in einer Kommode ! Vermutlich vom Vorgänger ( wer weiß wie lange es schon dort gelegen hat ) War natürlich schon sehr peinlich fürs Management, man hat uns dann ein Upgrade zugestanden. Das Zimmer unterschied sich lediglich, das das Bad etwas anders gestaltet war und ein paar Chips und ein paar Getränke gratis waren! Auch keine besondere Leistung ☹️

We will most definitely be back for some relaxation time

We had the best time. Didn't want to leave. The complimentary cocktail hour was awesome and the breakfast was very good too. Can't wait to go back

I will never stay here again and I not recommend it.

The hot breakfast was the best aspect of my stay.

The broken couch and cratered couch pillows, the mold around the tub, the awful shower head - it was a fire hose and intermittently would cut out, the filthy sink - there’s a plug or something on the interior rim filled with disgusting stuff 🤮, the satellite tv was constantly in and out so couldn’t watch anything without constant interruption, the $6.00 bottle of water - shameful., the rooms need a refresh and simply feel dirty.

This hotel was the highlight of our trip!

We're very impressed with the hotel on every level. The open bar with snacks in the evening was wonderful after a long day's drive, and the staff was exceptionally helpful and positive.

Excellent, amazing in every way.

My husband and I are in our late 70's so we have stayed in many hotels but this was the best hotel experience we have ever had. Free breakfast buffet included which was awesome, there was even an omelet station. We enjoyed a free reception that included wine and beer and appetizers. Loved the restaurant where we were treated like royalty and served by Andrea and Dillon who were so friendly and attentive. The restaurant and bar was beautiful and food was excellent. The front desk person, Ondre, was amazing and also very friendly and helpful. Loved the room with a separate living area adjoining the bedroom. Everything was exceptionally clean and all the staff were always smiling, and greeting us. We honestly felt like VIP's. Loved the beautiful lobby area. This hotel was within a mile of the University of Alabama and convenient to any shopping you might need. We come to Tuscaloosa often because our grandson is attending the University there. This will be our go-to Hotel from now on.

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was beyond our expectations. At every other there was always something I didn't like but I couldn't find anything at this hotel. This was our best hotel experience ever!

Great location

The rooms are dirty, the beds are all filthy with urine stains, towels where dirty with stains and hair all over them, countertops where filthy, and pullout sofa bed was filthy too.

Disappointing

Pool was broken and it’s why we chose the property. It’s apparently going to be for a very long time as the part they need no longer exists- yet they still advertise a pool and don’t tell you there isn’t one nor care that your kid is disappointed.

It was a good stay except for breakfast was awful

Andrae was awesome He was very helpful with my questions.He also has that personality that makes you feel welcomed. Thank you for your kindness Andrae I would choose to stay here again.

Breakfast could be more flavorful.It had no taste in grits ( no cheese grits )Also real eggs instead of powdered eggs would be more tasteful.

Did not meet expectations, missed out on swimming due to booking site not identifying pool closure.

I demand my money back and expect a call from a manager.

Not one thing. I will never step foot in an embassy suites again. no hot water as well.

I demanded my money back and was told by the manager that we would be refunded for our room in full. I still haven’t seen the charge reversed. A drunk couple fought all night long right next to our room and the staff did nothing about it. Kept my daughter and I scared and up all night long. I’ve never heard such foul language and my daughter doesn’t even want to attend school at UAB because of this experience. The couple yelled and threatened each the entire night.

Exceptional

The young man cooking the omelet was a different man than who is usually available to serve our group when we come to campus for class. We are nurses in the EdD program at the University of Alabama. He did not cook the vegetables before cooking them with the omelet. He also did not know how to cook egg whites. My other colleague asked for scrambled eggs, and they were horrible.
