Beautiful place, but disappointing stay.

The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was elegant. The decor and overall ambience were sumptuous!

I was promised when reserving that my room would be a "deluxe queen with private bath" and TV. Instead my room was cramped, a bathroom was down the hall and access to the TV took two hours to figure out.

Cute, eclectic Inn with exception breakfast

A quaint and lovely old house with lots of charme. The breakfast was the bomb - local ingredients, freshly prepared, and well paced. 10 mins walk from down town - ideal location.

Very hospitable and nice place to enjoy Frederick. Easy parking and friendly.

Amazing breakfast and cozy fire.

The heat in the room was set too high with a thermostat that was outside the room. My only feedback would be to share w guests how to modify the temp if uncomfortable overnight.

10 Clarke was perfect and I hope I have the chance to return before too long!

I loved everything about 10 Clarke! From Monique making sure I arrived safely in the midst of a hurricane to her helping me get my luggage packed in my car for the next leg of my journey, I would highly recommend a stay. Monique, thank you for taking such good care of me!!

I will be back as often as possible

OMG - go to breakfast hungry because the food is awesome, delicious, beautiful presentation and there is quite a bit of it all. Chocolate waffles, frittatas, smoothies - over the top!

I would change nothing - the staff was gracious and helpful with tips of what to do around town and great places to eat.

It was a lovely building and the three course breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were lovely. When we did complain about a room the innkeeper upgraded us for a better room the second night. The upgrade was to the third floor suite which was absolutely stunning. It is a shame that due to our budget we could not stay the third night as planned and we were not offered a third night with what we had already paid.

We would have never booked the room if we had known that our private bathroom was not ensuite. One had to walk through a public hallway to get to one's bathroom. Also there was no deadbolt on our door and we couldn't get the lock to work with the key. We didn't realize we had the smallest room in the building and it was incredibly small due to the large pieces of furniture. If you had two pieces of luggage good luck with trying to find a place to open them up and to leave them open.

Amazing place to stay.

Everything, this place was outstanding, my wife an I stayed in the Lace Room and it was very comfortable and more then enough space. Skip the hotels with waffle makers and stay here where you will enjoy a 3 course breakfast

Beautiful historical home with lots of amenities. Loved the option of wine, water or tea available for guest to enjoy on the front porch or outdoor gardens. Great breakfast and the innkeeper is a wonderful hostess. We would love to stay here again if we visit Frederick again. Lovely weekend get away.

Would happily return but the stairs are rough with our ages and bad legs.

Comfortable, elegant and welcoming environment; music; unequaled breakfasts; availability of coffee, wine; porch, and location to town.

Surprisingly small room for two, particularly for any kind of an extended stay. Too little introductory detail offered on room, bathroom usage....didn’t find light above the bed until time to leave; some difficulty getting comfortable with shower/ portable heater Room temp too cool
