Decent, but overcharges for what it offers.

Easy to park. Since we had a car, finding a hotel that offered parking for free was our priority. The room was decent, the bed was not bad and the washroom is old but works fine.

Super, super loud inside the bedroom. You can hear neighbors rooms and the cars in the avenue really loud from insider the room, all night. Room should be more soundproof. A kind of a old smell in the room; bed sheets had a role. The door from our bedroom was almost broken. Needs fixing. It overcharges from what it offers - but sadly LA is an expensive area and since we needed a hotel w parking, there were not many options available.

Overall, I was very happy with my room and the location of the Galaxy Inn.

The room was the perfect size for my needs and was very convenient to where I needed to be.

The parking lot is very small, not enough available spaces. I could not come back late at night or leave on the weekends because there would be no available parking spaces when I returned. There usually were no available spaces on the street in the neighborhood.

Great value for money, staff was awesome!

Can’t beat the value for money. Rooms were clean and perfectly serviceable. Staff was always courteous and helpful. Wifi was surprisingly reliable, and I had no issues making video calls for work. Location is close to a few restaurants and public transit stops, though like most of LA, it’s a bit hard to get around without a car.

It’s right on Sepulveda so expect the unending sound of many cars driving by, day and night. The heating/cooling unit and fridge were also a bit loud. Needless to say, bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise at night! I personally had no issues falling asleep. I also wish the rooms had a bedside lamp or dimmer switch. The overhead lights are a bit harsh. But those were all minor issues, and my stay was clean and comfortable!

A nice choice

The room was clean and comfortable just what I needed it to be. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did think it was a bit pricy but I enjoyed my stay.

I didn't like that my room's bathtub could not hold water for a bath. I did nit specify a bathtub either. I'm a bather and that would have topped off my stay to be able to relax in the tub.

although I had response about my request for upping shower pressure, it didn’t improve. their folio does not provide itemized charges, which makes I hard to submit as an expense. floor is always dirty, so just one barefoot step into it will make your sole black.

Good value for a short stay

Good place for value. Area is safe during daytime, I would avoid going outside alone at nights. The room was ok clean and has everything you might need including a small fridge. Bed was comfortable. Overall a good value for what you pay.

I asked the owner that checks you in for a quiet room and he said we will do it and gave me a room facing the the back of the hotel. The problem was the neighbour next door played the TV super loud and I told the owner about this and he said any problem just call them which was a good response the only problem is that also the cleaning lady have the cleaning room right next to my door meaning they would wake me up around 8 am every morning so in the end the room was not quiet all. Also the bathroom could’ve been cleaner I found a few hairs left behind from previous guest. So yes these 2 things only.

Caution! Hairy sheets and towels, stains in bedding. Cigarette smokers in rooms! Condemn

Nothing went well. We didn’t like anything about our stay here. It was so gross, dirty, smelled of cigarettes and car fumes and noise pollution.

Stay away from this place. The nastiest place I have ever stayed at in my entire life! Every single thing about this place was gross! Cigarette smokers in rooms, ashtrays outside of the doors, filled with ashes and butts. There was a half inch gap between the door and the floor, letting in all the outside noises and fumes, cigarette smoke, bugs. A rat could fit under the door crack. Hairs in the bedding and towels! So gross! Stains on the bedding and everywhere in the room on the carpet. black mold on the shower curtain, water damage on the swollen up bathroom door. Suspicious looking people staying or walking through the hotel grounds. Bed was hard as a rock and rattled around at every small movement. Pillows were hard. Had to pay a quarter for a small bit of ice. Complimentary coffee was all covered in dust with a greyed old water bottle on top. Lack of parking. We actually went home after only one night, because this place was so nasty. No refund or discount offered. Should be condemned! Or just labeled as a motel to rent by the hour. As I believe some rooms were! YUCK!

Location was handy, especially for Venice and Santa Monica, and there are numerous dining options nearby.

The hotel looks quite nice, the staff were very welcoming, they put my suitcase in the storage room (I arrived early in the morning way before check-in time) for me to be able to go somewhere else and then they even let me check-in a couple of hours earlier. The appliances in the room were good: there was a fridge, a microwave, a TV (I didn't use it though), an AC that can both give heat and cool the room, also quite a few power outlets. The size, the condition of the room didn't disappoint either and everything was tidy. The Wi-Fi was there, too, but I can't say how good it was since I have a pretty good mobile data setup so I didn't have to use the Wi-Fi too much.

The area felt sketchy: quite a few unsavory-looking people wandering around, some of them might approach you asking for money or just talking nonsense (personally had to deal with that and I am a dude over 6.3 feet tall). Absolutely do not recommend going out on foot past sunset. Overall: either drive around or call taxis. However, the parking lot by the hotel is small and is usually packed, so plan ahead.

The staff were friendly, easy check in and check out, safe, wonderful room service, great location to gas station, pizza, and breakfast a minute walking distance.

The only thing I didn't like was that when the clean new towels were brought in, stains appeared to be on them, but they smelled very clean.

Terrible

The laundry room was right behind my room and the sound of washers filling up with water were extremely loud and distracting. Sounded like Jack hammers .

The noise from the laundry room was so loud . No coffee.
